Well, I get that question a lot at the gym and from my friends!.

Once and for all, here is what I found out from my experience and research!.

Honestly, you might not see a dramatic result in a few weeks; but you will be on the right track towards getting a SIX-PACK stomach soon, if you follow the regimen below:

I did the following for 12 months, probably 360 days out of 365!. As a result, I got my current six pack with 2% body fat!.

1!. Warm up: Start with a regular sit ups, 50 non-stop, in a slow but controlled manner!. You are NOT trying to do as fast as you can, but nice and slowly!. Take a break for a minute before going to the next!.

2!. Upper abs: Do 30-degree angle sit ups!. Lie down on your back, bend your knees 90 degrees!. Lift your upper body only 30 degrees from the ground!. Stop for three seconds!. Then, down!. Repeat this 10 times!. That's one set!. Do five sets with a break in between sets!.

3!. Lower abs: Do flutter kicks!. Lie down on your back flat on the ground!. Lift your feet 30 degrees up from the ground!. Do flutter kicks!. Do 20, that's one set!. Do five sets with a break in between sets!.

4!. Obliques: Do bicycle sit ups!. Just like regular sit ups, except that you touch the right knee with your left elbow, touch the left knee with the right elbow!. 25 reps each set, 2 sets!.

The total reps would be over 200!. I do all of these in the gym, but if you are not accustomed to doing sit ups, you might want to start doing 1/4 of them a day and increase the number of reps!. Otherwise, your abs will get sore and you might have to stop for a few days!.

Unlike other muscles, you do NOT need to do this alternate days!. You may and should do sit ups everyday!.

You will see a noticeable difference in six months and a lot more in a year!. I started doing sit ups right after high school and when I started, I did not have a big belly!. So, it took me only a year to get a six pack!. Depending on your current fitness level, it might take you longer, but you will get there!. The key is patience and persistence!.

Moreover, fitness is 70% diet and 30% exercise, which means that eating healthy is more important than doing thousands of sit-ups!.

So, here is how to eat for the "abs!."

First, eat 6 times a day, every three hours!.
Some of healthy snacks are:
(1) A peanut butter sandwich, especially in the morning: don't worry- peanut butter has GOOD fat, the type the body needs!. I add celery in it, which surprisingly tastes good!.
(2) Fruits: I eat per day two apples, two bananas, two oranges, and other seasonal fruits!. Fruits have low calories but are filling!.
(3) Baby carrots: might be hard to eat first time, but tastes not bad if you get used to it!.
(4) Power bars/ Granola bars: choose the ones with less than 5 grams of fat per serving!.
(5) Soy milk: will take your hunger away and also has protein for muscle building!.

Second, Try NOT to eat a heavy dinner and follow the every 3-hour eating rule (see First above)!. Do not eat within 2 hours before going to bed except a small portion of light snacks listed above!.

Last, do NOT miss breakfast!.

While doing all of those above, if you can do cardio exercises, you will see the results sooner!.

155 is not that heavy unless you're really short!.

But to answer your question, you don't have to go on "a diet" as in buying a book and following the meal plan etc!. But you should look at the way you eat now and what you eat and try to improve that!. Spread the calories out over 5-6 small, healthy meals per day!. Try not to eat after 9pm or so!. Avoid junk food, sugars and processed food etc - stuff you KNOW is bad for you!. Drink plenty of water etc!.

But if what you really meant is that you don't plan on changing how/what you eat at all, then it's all about exercise!. 30 minutes or more of medium-level exercise (jogging, biking, etc) 4-5 times per week is a good start!. Walking is one of the best fat-burning exercises there is and if you try hard enough you can find lots of excuses to walk!. Skip the elevator and take the stairs, walk to the grocery store when your mom needs milk, walk to the park or to other places you'd normally take a bus to or ask for a drive to etc!. The more the walk, the more you'll burn!.

While you're doing all this, be sure to get plenty of proper rest - 8 hours sleep per night at least!. At 14 your body needs sleep to grow and to recover from the exercise etc!.

20 pounds in 6 weeks might be kind of tough, but if you do some (or all) of these things and lose at least 10 by then you know you're on the right track and should stick with it!.

Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know how active you are, or what you eat, but this is the strategy I would use to help you lose weight while staying healthy and not putting your health at risk!. 1st - add an additional 30 - 45 minutes of aerobic activity to your day!. Swimming, biking, hiking, walking, running, aerobics, dancing, skating, treadmills, rowing machines, kick boxing, jazzercise, the list goes on and on!. 2nd - divide what you normally eat into thirds, or three equal size portions!. So, if you normally have a bowl of cereal in the morning, visualize the cereal (in the bowl) divided into three potions, spoon one of the portions into the garbage can, and eat the rest!. If you normally have a #1 Mc Donalds value meal at lunch, divide the burger or whatever into thirds, throw away one third, divide the fries into thirds, throw away one third, and consume the remaining portions!. Try to order water or unsweetened tea or (last resort) diet cola for your drink!. If you can't have any of the above mentioned drinks, take your cup, pour out 1/3 of it's contents, and drink the rest!. Do this with ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING you eat!. By adding 30 - 45 minutes of activity and cutting the calories of what you normally eat by 1/3, you should be able to lose weight!. It won't be instant weight loss, but that is the way I would go about it without going on a diet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A month and two weeks, you dont want to lose weight that fast man, slow down!. First set a better goal, unless for wrestling light division!. Your 14, so I think you can start lifting, but doing circuit training!. Circuit training might put a little muscle on, but not much, and it's main purpose is to tone and trim!. So, you might investigate that!. It where you wrk out fast, do more reps with lighter weight, then move on to the next exercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

One thing that really helps me is this site: www!.thedailyplate!.com
It lets you track your food and is free to sign up for!. It'll tell you just how much you should eat to lose however many pounds a week!. You can also track your workouts!. Just knowing how much you eat and how much you exercise can really put you in check!. Also consider buying a little food scale!. I know it sounds tedious but eating the correct portions by weighing out your food, can really help you out too!. It's amazing how many portions people eat without even realizing it!. Sure that pasta is 210 calories, but it's 210 calories for 56grams!.!.!.!.not nearly as much as you'd think!. If it's possible try to learn how to make your food!. Don't eat any of those weight loss foods, just aim for healthy fruits and veggies!. Also if you know you can't just eat a handful of nuts then don't stock them in the house!. Setting up a rewards system helps too!. I'm a sucker for chocolate and just knowing that if I'm good all day I can have a few pieces, makes me feel a lot better!. Goodluck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
