im 15 in a half, im 5/8!.5ft!. tall, and i weigh 180 lbs!.!.!.!.!.so am i overweight, cuz my mom and dad told me i need to lose 40 lbsWww@Answer-Health@Com

i weigh 162lbs and i think that is an alright weight
you should seriously try skipping with a skipping rope, it really builds up your fitness without it costing too much in gym memberships and stuff
with your dad telling you to loose weight, that was uncalled for!.

According to the BMI (Body Mass Index) scale, which is used to determine proper weight-heigh proportions, you are only slightly in the overweight category!. Plus, since you're only 15, you may still have a while before your body is finished transitioning into adulthood (and, therefore, redistributing weight)!.
You would need to lose about 15 pounds to be in the "Normal" range!. It may not seem like a huge number, but you will be amazed at how different just five pounds makes you feel!. 40 pounds may be too much!.

You need to feel great about yourself no matter what- But your parents may be right- someone about your age and height should probably be in the 140-150lb range!. This will increase your health significantly, in addition to many other benefits!. But remember, it's your life, your body!. Be happy about it no matter what!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeeea!.!. kinda!. im 19 5'9 and weigh 155!. even i need to lose a little!. i lost 10 pounds in a month from not eating chips and drinking soda!. so yeah!.!. just dont eat too much junk food!. u can also buy a hula hooop to exercise!.!. its soo fun!. (:Www@Answer-Health@Com
