No, it won't and you'll just injure your knees!. It's wrong to think that putting on ankle weights can make you jump high!. It's just a misconception!. I f you wanna jump higher, train like a volleyball player!. Use a platform,maybe 2 feet high from the ground, and start doing step-ups!. This trains your legs to be vertically powerful which in turn is crucial for the jumping execution!. Put your left leg on the platform then raise your right knee to your chest, then do it with the left knee(alternate)!.
