What kind of food or drink has diuretic properties?!

Question:

What kind of food or drink has diuretic properties?

Every summer I have the tendency to retain water because of the heat. Right now, I am retaining water. If there are foods or supplements out there to help me that would be great. I can go to my doctor to get a water pill but I want to try the non-medicine way first. Thx.
