Recently, I have just been very stressed because of various reasons (such as friends pissing me off, work, maintaining my weight)!. You see I used to extremely fat and then I lost 10kg so now I

OMG!. I am the same exact way!.!.!. you are not alone!.
I've been working on dealing with this!. I've recently started a diet plan, and to prepare myself for binges I get a food that I really like and keep it in the house!. I allow myself to have one cookie a day, and when I reach in for another one!. I stop myself for a second and just ask myself why I'm eating this if I've already had one!. I ask myself how I'm feeling, am I feeling lonely!? Depressed!? etc!. I usually find that the food is filling a void, so instead of eating it I find something else to do!. Just walk away from it!. Listen to music!. Read a magazine!. Sometimes I come to this section of Yahoo answers to remind myself of my goals!.
It's really helpful to have a support system in a time like that!. Anyone you can talk to, and if there isn't anyone just write down exactly how you are feeling, being completely honest with yourself!.
Also, if you do binge, and you realize it mid way through and you start askng your self, don't throw in the towel because "whats done is done" stop yourself in that moment!. And remember, even that is progress!.

The trick is to eat LITTLE and OFTEN!. By doing this you wont really get hungry and you'll be less likely to eat junk, etc!. Instead of eating a huge breakfast,dinner,supper, you need to split up your food during the day!. I usually eat every 2 or 3 hours!. So even if it's something small like banana, just eat it but remember its LITTLE and OFTEN not lots and often!. Try it out because it sure does work for me!.

Also try to deal with your stress!. A brisk walk works wonders for stress busting!. Try relaxing music, go to the beach if you can, talk to a friend about your stress, your worries etc!. And if you aren't really comfortably about talking to someone try writing it down in a diary!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

What you need is not to surround yourself with healthy food, but to deal with the issues that make you eat in the first place!. surrounding yourself with healthy food will only control what you put into your body, not how much you consume!. Deal with the friend/work etc issues that make you eat, then after you deal with them, treat yourself to a massage or something to reward yourself for sorting things out!. Heres a good one, drink lots of liquids!.

Seriously, try it today, if you drink say a litre of water more than you would normally drink between meals, then you feel less inclined to eat, because you feel full, or alternativly drink milk as that is refreshing and clearly provides useful calcium for your teeth and bones, thats what ive done, just drink fluids and you feel less interested in eating out of meal times!.

it is depression with a capital D!. you are using food as a tranquilzer, as a comforter!. You need to go to a shrink !. the doc might give you medicines to make u feel better!. meanwhile snack on carrots and soya nuts!. just 2 tbsp of soya subsides hunger pangs!.depression can be treated with medication very effectively!. dont ignore the problem!. it wont go away!. you will just waste your youth!. go to a good shrink!. get treated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know it's so hard, I've been down your road before!. It's extremely depressing!. Most people don't realize it, but food can be an addiction!. You've become addicted to food because it feeds your hormones, making you feel "happy", only for a short while!. But happy is happy, and if it's the only way you know how to make yourself feel happy, it's the road you're going to take!.

You have to find something else in your life that makes you happy!. For instance, buy a new puppy, or even a hamster, take up drawing or painting, buy some books, get a manicure, take yourself shopping, whatever it is that makes YOU happy!. You just have to find it!.

And realize you have more to live for than food!. Think about your family, your friends - Would they want to lose you to your depression!? Find something to motivate you - love, life, traveling, whatever!. This constant binging feeds your depression!. The sooner you work on stopping, the better!.
