Hello,

Well it seems as though your 'perfect diet' may be a little too strict and so you are depriving yourself which is only making you crave your forbidden foods more!.
This means that you must adjust your diet to allow yourself the odd treat, which could be a chocolate bar (or even better a mini one) a bag of low fat crisps or a few jelly babies!. This means you will get a little taster which will satisfy your craving without you overindulging or binging and going backwards instead of forwards!. However, you must also enjoy eating fresh and healthy food in the same way!.

Also DON'T cut out any major food groups from your diet as your body needs protein, carbs AND fats in order to function properly!. A lack of either of these will cause your body to react and can cause real harm and even long term effects, and can slow down your metabolism!.
I always say everything in moderation is fine, this means eating until you are satisfied and not stuffed or uncomfortable!. Also, a little bit of what you fancy does you good, this keeps your mood up, and keeps your motivation up without feeling any intense guilt!.
Savour your food, take time eating it and take in it's smells and tastes and appreciate it for what it is!. This will allow you to form a much better relationship with food in general, which is the key to stop overeating!.

You also mentioned how the rest of your house is not 'dieting'!. This is a word you need to bin first and not the food!. You simply want to eat a bit more healthy, but depriving the rest of your family isn't very fair, so you just have to have a bit of will power!.However, TALK to your parents and explain how you would really like to eat more healthy and i am sure, if anything, they will really encourage thisand be pleased you want to make this change!. If they don't approve (which would be wrong!!), you are 17 and a mature adult and only a year away from being 18 and can make your own decisions in life, get a little job, or if your already working buy your own healthy fresh food if you can!.

As for your 'perfect' fitness regime!. Are you finding this hard to stick to aswell!?!? Well maybe this is too strict too, causing you to lose motivation completely!.
Exercise doesn't have to be ordered and boring and doesn't have to be in a gym, it can be fun and refreshing if you do it the right way for YOU! This means choosing exercises that you WANT to do and enjoy doing, this could be swimming or jogging or may prefer some of the exercise classes that may be going on in your local area, for example boxercise, yoga, aerobics or even cheerleading!!
However, if you prefer to do some exercises in your own home try dancing, intense cleaning,!.!. anything you fancy doing to a bit of music!.
The most important thing, though, is that you introduce healthy living into your everyday life!. As a 6week intense fitness plan is great for 6 weeks but then after that the likelyhood is that everythin goes back to normal again and you lose motivation!. Thats because the truth is that you can't do a perfect or intense fitness plan for life as it is too difficult to maintain the determination and motervation and you will have other commitments in life!.
The best thing to do is make exercise and activity a part of you life, walk to places as much as you can, take the stairs when you can, and do the odd 20mins of exercise WHEN you can!
This change won't just last 6 weeks but for a lifetime!!!

Also the final important thing is that you must be in the right frame of mind to achieve what you want and do all this!. This means doing it for you!!and thinking of you for a change!! Your body will love you for maiking these simple changes and, trust me, it isn't very longat all until you start to feel the real differences and benefits!. Small things you may not even think of appart from the weight loss will happen, you will have more energy, your moods will be more stable, your nails will grow better, your hair will get shinier the list is endless!!
Now is that enough to motivate you!?!?

BUT remember maintaining it is just as important as achieving it!!

I wish you all the luck in the world!!

Keep at it!

The thing that helped me the most was knowing how crappy i felt right after i ate junk!. Also remember if you have a piece of candy or cake, don't think your diet's ruined, just forget you ever ate it and move on with your diet!. Also buy things for you to eat in the house, meals and healthy snacks, so you wont be tempted by the junk food!. Good Luck with your diet, hope it works out for you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stick pictures of skinny women to your fridge/larder door/ purse!. When you go for a snack you will see them and feel so bad that you will have to stop!. Alternatively, get your parents to stop buying unhealthy food, so that there is no way you can get it!. Just get some willpower!. You obviously want to be thin!. Just stop eating!Www@Answer-Health@Com

1) ok so you need to make a chart and for everyday you stick to the diet you give yourself a sticker ok now after 1 week if you have not snacked out you buy yourself a present

2) every Sunday you could reward yourself with a kitkat if you have been good

3) ask your friends and family to do the shopping for you so you arent tempted to buy munchies

4) for every time you eat a munchie you have to work out at the gym for half an hour

5) try to get loads of support from you friends and family

6) Good luck xx xx :-)Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, the best motivator is you yourself, I am currently on a diet plan and moderate excercise, which i know i can continue for the rest of my life!.
I noticd that the 1st week was the toughest, 2nd week i was kinda getting into the mood, 3rd week i could reallllly feel the difference!. and i guess thats what keeps me going!.
I fit into some of my older clothes which had not seen the light of the day for sometime and feel motivated when friends tell me i look better with the weight loss
now i am completley into the mode and i dont even want to eat any junk!.
Not that i don't treat myself to a goodie once a week!
So, i suggest buy yourself a dress in a smaller size and your goal shoud be to fit into it in a months time!.
Don't confine yourself indoors, move out, noone cares about your few extra pounds, they have other things to worry about!.
Goodluck now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
