Question: Okay to work out in the morning before eating breakfast!?
I normally go to the gym after work, but my work schedule has changed and I want to start going to the gym in the morning before work instead!. My question is, should I eat breakfast before going to the gym, or is it okay to work out on an empty stomach!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's fine to work out before eating - I've been doing it for about 15 years!. I can't run if I have food in my tummy or I get terrible stomach cramps!. If you want to eat something because you feel like you're starving, a really good snack to have on the way to the gym is a banana and a glass of orange juice!. Lots of potassium to ward off muscle cramps!. Yogurt is also a good choice that won't cause you to have stomach cramps caused by working out on a full stomach, and it't quick and easy!.

Another good food to eat that is quick and won't cause you to feel too full while working out, is a hard boiled egg!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your body needs a bit of energy to excercise, otherwise you might feel sluggish!. I take a small breakfast- 1/2 cup of cereal, a small fruit and sometimes a 1/2 cup of yogurt!.

Whatever you eat, make sure it's not a big breakfast which is harder to digest (like pancakes, fried egg, bacon, etc); you will also feel sluggish becausey our body is working to digest the food!.

Something important- don't excercise inmediately after eating- wait an hour!. Take breakfast, get changed and by the time you're in the gym, the hour may have passed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Working out in the morning BEFORE eating causes you to burn much more fat (last stats I read were about 60% more of the calories you burn will be fat calories)!. This is because you don't have anything in your stomach from a meal to help burn off!.

If you are lifting weights hardcore and have a pre-workout supplement you like (I love Ultimate Orange) or take a protein shake pre-workout, continue to do so!.!.!.but again, JUST that, do not eat breakfast on top of it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I usually workout in the morning before eating!. I will have a granola bar or a piece of fruit on the way to work!. I find if I eat prior to my workout I feel sluggish and sometimes it upsets my stomach!. Just make sure to eat something after your workout!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

??If you work out before you eat, then you will have a sudden urge of hunger after you are finished, making you want to eat and then you will probably gain back more calories and fat then you lost!.

in truth it's how you feel!. If you can do the same workout b4 breakfast and you feel fine doing that!. GO YOU!!! If not then eat something 30- 45 mins b4 your workout!. What i do is workout whenever i get a chance (mornings,evenings or nights) what i do is use the product linked below the eat something cuz i don't always have time to eat b4 i workout!. its ok to work out on an empty stomach, and helps you lose more weight, as you'll be running on your resources!. also, if you eat up to an hour after exercise you'll burn it off quicker tooWww@Answer-Health@Com
