Question: Hard work out yesterday, swimming today!?
Yesterday I took an intense kick boxing class, then right after that it was followed with a yoga class!. My legs are really quite sore today!. I was looking forward to going to the pool and swimming laps today though!. My question is would it be more harmful or beneficial to my leg muscles to go swim laps today!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's an interesting question!. If your legs hurt really bad!.!.!.dont go swimming!. They need to heal to get stronger!.
but, if they are just a bit sore, you could probably get away with it!. I know that when I work my legs (which is rare because I have 0 fat on them and the muscles are too big alread) I'll still do my cardio that day and the next!.

I am not a professional, but every time me and my partner work out, we take a dip in the pool afterwards!. I have CFS which makes my muscles cramp and hurt on a constant basis and I have learned that swimming, not vigorously but just relaxing, keeps my muscles from tensing up!. i think it's fine if you go swimming but don't overdo it because you could cause yourself an injury!.
