How do you know if you are suffering from anorexia?!

Question:

How do you know if you are suffering from anorexia?

If so how can I fix it, I have lost all my appetite, and my mother asked have I lost weight - which I just discovered that I have (about a stone). I was only 8 stone to start with.
But I just do not feel hungry anymore.

Answers:

I highly doubt you have ana because when you actually have anorexia it's not just some simple loss of appetite, it's a mental disorder that makes your life hell each day. I have ana and have had ana with me since the tender age of 12, I am now 17 and still have ana and even though I don't look like I do(my bmi is currently 20 which is "normal"), I realize the only reason I am not going back to my total restriction habits is because I just have a year left with my parents and then I can go back to my restricting without any worry of being put into ip(ip is inpatient in the ana world which is a residential eating disorder treatment center.) Basicly when you have ana and this is coming from a girl who actually has anorexia, not some twisted little teenie bopper who glamorizes the whole thing saying that she wants to lose weight and how she's so fat and whatever the hell else she might say. When you have ana you are in constant pain both mentally and physically with everything ranging from just the absolute hatred of your body and weighing yourself who knows how many times a day to actual physical problems like low electrolyte count which eventually leads to death, brittle bones which lead to osteoporosous and many other problems. Seriously if you had even in the slightest way thought that having anorexia might be cool or something it's not. I have wasted nearly all my teenage years to it from the 2 stints in rehab because of my low weight to just not being able to eat anything without feeling guilty. Last summer I was working out 5-7 hours per day and even during that school year I was doing, now I can only do 1-3 because of my parents constant supervision. Unfortunately though my parents know that when i'm 18 i'll just start doing it all over again, and that it really is hopeless to even try to do anything. My whole life is finished, don't let yours be.
