How come I am so short?!
Question: How come I am so short!?
Why am I so short!? My dad is 6'1'', bro is 5'11'', mom is 5'7'', and I am JUST now getting as tall as my mom at 16 yo!.
When my brother was 16, he was pretty much as tall as he is now, or 1 or maybe 2 inches shorter!.

it's possible that you won't be as tall as your brother; statistically the eldest child is the tallest, unless it is a female with a younger brother!.
and this is the answer you will hear mostly: you're still growing!. make sure you get the right amount of calcium and vitamin D, and exercise often!. that should give you a leg up!. but boys grow until they're about 20, girls stop at about 18!. but there are exceptions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is how you are designed to be!. Guys do not stop growing until they are 21 years of age!.
My mom is 5'10" and my dad is 6'6"!. My older sister is 5'2" and I'm 6'1"!.
Don't worry about being short!. You still have alot of time until you will finish growing!. Eating healthy has nothing to do with height!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My brothers ranged from 5'10" to 6'!. My dad was 6'!.
I am, and have been, 5'7"!. I believe the genes came from my grandfather!.
I waited to grow, even as I got older!.!.!.into my early twenties!. It just didn't happen!.
My advice: learn to be happy with it now!. Perhaps you will grow, but if not, don't spend the next 20 years wishing you were taller!. I did!. It did not help!.

Well your diet has to be healthy, but possibly you have started puberty late for a boy!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.I don't know how that works though, I'm a girl! You'll prob be 5"11" like your bro!

theres nothing wrong with you, my friend is very small too and her parents are like 6 feet and shes like 5!. Theres really nothing wrong with you your just small!
