Whats the best sort of food i can have before going gym and after i come out?

i need foods to eat before and have something that will be light and not too filling.
what should i be eating after i have come from the gym?
what sort of periords before and after should i be eating,
if your wondering im trying to build muscle and body mass etc but want to be toned


Answers:

Im a regular user of the gym, as have been entered into Mr Natural - wales.

The best possible food to eat is pasta approximately an hour before going to the gym. Food with carbodydrates is essential for working out. These will burn and improve your metabilism. After the gym Chicken is one of the best foods to eat as your body muscles will still be working overload, even though you may not feel this, and chicken has alot of protein and carbohydrates in.
