Digesting Corn?!

Question: Digesting Corn!?
Not meaning to be disgusting or anything!. But it seems as if corn isn't digested very well!. It looks the same going out of our bodies as it did going into our bodies!. So is corn really healthy for us!? Can it mess with our digestive system!? Should we not eat corn too often!? My husband has IBS and I've been told to keep corn out of his reach as he loves corn!. So what do you think!? Any thoughts are appreciated!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
People tend to not chew corn as much as they should!. However, it is high in fiber, so is good for people without IBS!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, the fiberous ourside of the corn is certainlly hard for our bodies to process and that is people with normal digestive systems!.

I know that pretty much anyone with a digestive disorder is told to stay away from corn!. For me, it makes me so sick that I have no desire what so ever to eat it!.

I don't think it is unhealthy for us but, some people need to avoid it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't know if this is true, but I've heard that corn (like water) is used to cleanse the body, so that's why it looks the same at the end!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

With IBS anything like corn that your body doesn't digest good would just make your symptoms of IBS worse!. So, I would definitely keep it away from your husband!. Same with salads and other really leafy veggies!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try chewing your food better!. Don't worry though, seeing undigested corn in the toilet bowel is not fatal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
