Children's "diet"?!

What are some good ideas for a childrens "diet"!? My little sister is a bit overweight and I was wondering because I want to get her in shape!. ThanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Just monitor what she eats and she will "grow" into her weight!. Make sure she gets some exercise each day, just playing outside!.
My 7 yr!. old daughter has the same problem, and the doctor told me not to make it seem like a "diet", but rather to make sure she doesn't go over 1500 cals a day, and to monitor her sugar and fat intake!. Cut out pop, get sugar-free kool aid, limit fast food!. Also, if there are other siblings/children, make sure their eating habits change, too, so your lil sis doesn't feel singled out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try to get your sister to eat more fruits and vegetables instead of junk food, and water or milk instead of soda or other high-sigar drinks!. That should help! Children really shoudnt go on any fad diets, unless a adoctor says!. Of course, excersize is always good as well :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

watch what shes eating tell her to think twice about what she takes out of the fridge lol if thats the case make sure shes getting plenty of excersie and doing outdoor activities hope that helpsWww@Answer-Health@Com
