Well actually you will burn a few calories doing situps!.!.!. and you will increase the size of the abs by doing sit ups!.!.!. more muscle means that you can burn more fat!.!.!. so technically you are incorrect!.

To get less calories in, you should diet!.
To burn more calories, you should do some sports or exercises, such as running, swimming,!.!.!.
