Question: Major weightloss help!?
Ok so i am morbidly obese!. It has effected both my physical and mental health!. And I am at a point where I need to start a change!. Problems being that i've always been "big", come from a "big" family and am also house-bound (i only leave the house once a week, to grocery shop with my mother, and its traumatic for me)!. So I need some advice as to how to start!.!.what to eat!.!.and especailly some exercies that I can do in the apartment (no buying equipment!.!.im also broke lol)!. This is going to be a hard change for me!. I am a compulsive eater!.!.tried convincing mom to lock the food up, but she thought i was kidding!. lol 0_0Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok no lie weight watchers works like they say its not a diet its a lifestyle join wait watchers for a month and the hang of how it works and then you can do it by yourself since you say you don't have that much money but yea any also walk just walk everyday don't think about what other people think about you the end results are what matter bc one day you'll be thin and people wont think of how fat you were they'll think about how good you look also try doing a tons of crunches everyday and not just normal crunches there are several kinds of crunches to work all your abs trust me so weight watchers, walking, and crunches it works i know a lady she did it she lost a couple hunderd lbs and now she's probably 150 and almost everyday she walk's to her mom's and then walks back its a mile one way so yea just keep it up never give up remember lifestyle not diet and don't let things get you down keep a positive attitude and suround yourself with good friendsWww@Answer-Health@Com

DO NOT starve yourself by going on a crash diet!. It doesn't work, believe me! Sure, you lose weight, but not the weight you want!. Your body eats at muscle mass and bone first!. Your heart is a muscle, so by doing this, you can cause extreme damage!. You also lose hair and your ability to have kids in the future!. Then once you do actually eat something, it turns directly to FAT because your body is trying desperately to store excess calories & food for energy because it thinks that its starving - And you end up gaining everything you lost, and then some!

Try eating more fruits and veggies in place of other fatty meals, like junk food, cookies, or high calorie meals!. Like most people (I'm guilty sometimes!), you've probably brainwashed yourself into thinking that fast food tastes better than healthy food, but that's not entirely true! Try eating MorningStar Garden Burgers, grapes, clemintines, apples chunks in vanilla yogurt (good for sweet cravings!), blueberries, hummus (it sounds gross but it's really not, you can make low-calorie wraps with whole-grain wraps), granola, low-fat yogurt, low-fat string cheese, light brand whole wheat bread, 100 - calorie popcorn / kettle corn bags, steamed broccoli with a buttery garlic sauce, microwavable veggies etc!. I also snack on South Beach Diet oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, sugar-free puddings, sugar-free popsicles for chocolate cravings!. Check out www!.hungry-girl!.com for awesome recipes!

And eat SLOWLY!. Take one bite at a time, chew completely, then take another bite!. If you eat slower, you'll become fuller quicker, and you won't overeat!. Drink a glass of water before each meal - You'll feel fuller faster and won't overindulge!. Try to spread your meals out so that you're eating 5-6 smaller meals throughout the day - It keeps your metabolism up to speed!. Try bringing a sandwich or a bag or fruits with you to eat at work or in your locker between classes!.

Incorporate more exercise into your daily life!. Take the dog for a 20 minute walk, do jumping jacks while watching TV, do laps around the block, or the house for that matter!. Don't let yourself sit down for too long!. If you can, get a gym membership!. I use an elliptical for 30 minutes 5-6 times a week and it works great for me!. Don't forget some strength training too!. Muscle increases your BMR, or basal metabolism rate!. Your BMR is how many calories you burn each day just by existing!. To increase muscle mass, do crunches, push ups, squats, lunges, etc, about 3 times a week, NOT everyday!.

And don't eat out of boredom! It's a nasty habit to break, TRUST ME!. Whenever you feel like eating, watch a movie with no commercial breaks so you don't have time to get up, call a friend, read a book or magazine, or get out of the house, away from the food!.

And don't "DIET"!. Because the moment you go off your "diet", you'll regain the all the weight you lost quickly, believe me!. Instead, make "healthy living choices!."

I recently lost weight, about 20 lbs, and what really helped for me was planning my meals!. I planned when and what I was going to eat, and made sure the calorie count was 1400!. But never go under 1200! Whatever you do, don't let yourself stray from your plan!. Write it all down or type it out and leave it up on your computer so you don't forget, that's what I do!.

You'll never get to your "ideal" body by eating crap food and sitting around, no matter how much you want it to happen!. It takes dedication to get the body you want! Make it like a game!. How much weight can I lose!? Prove it to yourself you DO have the willpower to get what you want!.

But allow yourself a cheat day every now and then!. Life is too short! If you restrict your body of all the "good foods", you will one day EXPLODE and eat everything in sight!. Trust me!

One more thing: Once you do become thinner, DON'T think you can eat whatever you want now! You'll regain all the weight back, which is absolutely mortifying, especially after all the hard work to lose it!.

in the morning if you can wake up pretty early, thats when you have the most energy! drink a bottle of water plug in your ipod or whatever and listen to music as you run! -- thats my first step!.

Then you go home, eat a really healthy breakfast like fruit salad or something thats nutritonal!.

After that you pretty much clean the house or whatever maybe take a walk while its cool, walk your pet dog, if you have one, i like to spend the morning doing that while its not so hot outside!

After that you wait a few hours being active as can be, then you relax a little and do some sit ups and lift weights to your own schedule!.!.!. and your own statistics like weight height goals!.!. or whatever!.!. thats what i usually do! And then i like to stretch at the beginning of the day!.!. haha

MORE TIPS:

chew gum - sugar free!. It makes you not snack because if you chew it, you dont want to snack because then you will have to spit out your gum! works for me!.!.

EXTRA: breathing for an hour burns 60 calories, so thats a little lift off your chest haha
and sleeping is the same rate :)

hey, you know what!? The most unexpensive weight loss thing to do, is to try to burn more calories than you eat, dont eat unhealthy like a 500 calorie diet! All that will do is make you sick, you NEED to be healthy to lose weight properly!. Im trying to lose weight too! So basically here are some tips to speed up your metabolism: Drink 1-3 glasses of green tea a day
Try and eat Chilli peppers somehow, ((chilli DUH )) they help!.
8 classes of water a day

the more active you are, the faster your metabolism will grow to be!.

did you know that breathing for an hour burns 60 calories all on its own!? And SLEEP is very important, try to go to sleep on time and get your ages average amount of sleep,!. ask your doctor what a healthy weight for you is, and then after you have reached that goal do sit ups and crutches - among many other core excersises, Run to slim out, and make sure you burn more calories than you eat - had to repeat that!

Fruits and veggies are REALLY low in calories and FULL of nutrition!. If you like Tacos!? Ditch the hard shell, maybe try a taco salad!.!. without the shell of course! Lettuce with meat is good, but PLEASE try mixing it with turkey and beef so that it isnt all fat!. Chicken salad is good, you want the protein but you dont want fried anything really, once in a while if fine but remember - YOU HAVE TO BURN OFF THOSE EXTRA CALORIES!. Excersises excersise excersise!. Dont over do it - dont starve yourself, be moderate and stay active!. GOOGLE: 100 ways to burn 100 calories, their are some pretty cool things you can do!

Stay away from starchy and high carb foods - mostly white things!. Bread is a bad, so try to stick to thin, HIGH in fiber, slices :)

you can google all the stuff and before you know it you will feel so good about it all and IM actually excited to start working out and all that, just because I know what it will do for me!

The safest healthiest way to lose weight is with food combining and drinking rejuvelac!. I would suggest doing yoga for stretching and getting your back able to support you better!. If you could get to a water aerobics class that would be even better as the water supports your back as you gain strength!.
You can get yoga beginning cds at the library, try stretching cds too if they have, You will need to work on your back muscles!.
