What are some good tips to losing weight?!


Question: What are some good tips to losing weight!?
I have tried those shake things!. but they made me feel realy sick, and every time i drank one i just felt my self wanting to be sick :|
And as i am only 14 i need something easy that i can take to school!. Every time i go on a diet i just crve sweet things realy badly!. then just give in!.
Its realy hard!. Is there any diets that anyone would tell me about!?
pleaseeee help!. im desperate :S

First off, don't fall for any of the gimmicks like diet pills, protein shakes, ect!. They don't work!. I'm actually pretty sure the shakes are intended as a multivitamin/protein supplement in the event that your diet is grossly ill-planned!.

Here's what you need to know: The average person burns 2000 calories per day just sitting on their bum!. Weight loss is just calories in minus calories out!. I'd add an additional 500 calories for gym class!. You need a bare minimum of 1200 calories per day or your body enters starvation mode!. From experience, I recommend at least 1500 calories per day!. These are NET calories!. If you burn 1000 calories exercising, eat 1000 more calories that day!. In short, you should work towards a daily calorie gap of 500 per day!. That's 3500 lost calories per week, which is one pound!.

I recommend Total cereals in the morning to give you the vital energy you need throughout the day!. A big breakfast is the foundation of any successful diet!. For me, it's actually the biggest meal of the day!.

The important thing is to eat low calorie foods!. Individual fat, carb, and protein counts don't matter a whole lot, but you should aim for a good mix of each!. You do need a minimum amount of protein each day!. Grilled (not fried) fish is one of the best things you can eat!. Low calorie, high protein!.

For snack breaks, I recommend apples!. Snacks are actually an important part of a diet, as eating throughout the day keeps your metabolism up!.

You should keep a log to monitor your progress!. Keep in mind weight loss is an extremely slow process!. I've uploaded my own personal weight loss spreadsheet (with personal data deleted)

I've also linked to a body fat calculator that will give you your estimated minimum calorie and protein requirements!. Make sure to look up the nutrition facts of all the food you eat!.

If you eat too little, you will lose muscle and bone mass!. So have some sense when dieting!.

Well, your diet could have more vegetables in it!. Fleshy fruits are good too, like apples!. They fill you up, but are not too fat!. Contrary to popular belief, meat is okay, so long as you eat lean meat, and not the fatty stuff!.

If you really want to lose some weight, you should skip supper!. Skipping supper should work better than skipping lunch, but DO NOT skip breakfast!.

Try drink more water!. It fills you up, and you might eat less than you normally do!. Also, eating slowly can reduce the amount of food you want!. If you have an urge to eat sweet things, try doing something else to take your mind off it!.

Regular exercises cannot help to lose weight!. It's only the very vigourous type that can help lose weight a bit, but sometimes you get muscules that you can never lose!.

Those shakes are useless!.
On diets, you're not supposed to be hungry!.
If you are, you're not feeding yourself properly and your body will go into shock and retain as much fat as possible so it has some energy to feed off!.
So the shakes are stupid as you'll put the weight back on anyway!.
Eat as much fruit and veg as you like, eat when you're hungry, but instead of sweets, snack on low fat/ low calorie things!.
You can get sweet things that are extremely low in calories and fat and that are suitable and easy to take to school, there's loads of stuff!.

If you crave sweets all the time, I would try some different flavors of protein bars to help curb your hunger!. Ultimately, they end up being more healthy than candy because you're also getting some protein, fiber, and a good deal of vitamins from them!. My favorite one is the Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge Atkins bar, but I also like the Cookie Dough Balance Bar!. You should be able to find them in most grocery stores!.

Be careful not to eat one EVERY time you get a craving for sweets!. I would suggest not eating more than one every day, because the calories WILL start to add up!. I believe that one bar has about 200 calories in it!. There are some that have slightly less, like the Special K protein bars (I believe they also have a peanut butter chocolate flavor which is quite good)!. The Special K bar has about 150 calories in it instead!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Diets can shed some pouds but will bring it back the moment you stop!. So best thing is to eat 5 small meals to increase your metabolism and do exercise aytleast 20 minutes everyday!. Tak plenty of fruits and vegetables in your diet, drink a lot of water!. Snack with nuts!. Avoid fatty foods, sweetened juices, processed food!. A balanced diet will keep you fit to!.
For crash diets (you might want to get into a nice dress for an occasion), you could go on a soup diet!. Any soup and can be taken with bread or rice!. Since soups have more liquied, it helps to tone down!. You can continue to have fruits n vegetables as usual just replace your main food to a soupy food!.for ex!. for lunch you can have a small bowl of rice with chicken soup or for dinner you can have bread and cream of mushroom soup!.
Dont forget to exercise!. If you have need motivation just on the tv and dance to any music video!. While you fdance try to make different moves and some stresses!. A non stop dance for 20 minutes per day can do wonders!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

id like to know a quick and easy diet to!. i got told to be a vegan for a few weeks!. but my mumn really worried about me as im 13!. and vegan means like no milk or anything so at my age 13 and yours 14 not a good idea because we need calcium!. alot of it!. but i have no tips sorry :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

all you have to do is balance your sweets out with healthy food that you enjoy!. since you are 14 you probably have P!.E!. so that throws excercise into it!.since its summer you should get out for at least an hour a day and do something active!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
