Question: I'm a 12 year old girl who cant do a regular push up!.!.!.!. HELP please!!?
Well im only 12 years old im turning 13 on December the 12th!. Im going to enter Junior High(7th grade)!. I have always had trouble with push ups!.!. Im not an athletic person(im skinny)!. I always seem to make my push ups look like im "humping" the floor!.!. I know kids will laugh at me in Junior High, if I dont do them right!. I have like 1month and 2weeks til school starts!.!. And I want to learn by then!.!. How can I learn to improve my push ups my school!?!? PS please dont make fun, because I just dont have enough strength in my arms to do them correctly!. Pushups are HARD! Try building up your arm muscle!. Lift cans (one in each hand; arms held out or it's not building muscle) or 30mins in the morning and 30 mins at night!. Practice (if you have a mirror; look and get a straight back) then slowly go down and back up!. Practice 50pushups every night and you will build the muscle!. You can do it! Try doing one perfectly if that's all you can do and soon you will be able to do more and more until your a practical pro (:Www@Answer-Health@Com

first off all i cant do a push up for my life and no one made fun of me in 7th,8th,or in high school!. Most girls cant do a push up!. It takes arm strength but you dont have to go all the way down to the floor just go as low as you can!. No one really gives a Sh*t if you can do a push u or not!. Dont stress about it and have fun!. well im 18 and can no longer do it so dont worry about it!. Try doing the "girl pushups" first and build up to regular ones!. You know the pushups where you are on your knees and not feet!. Try doing twice as many of those!. You should eventually be able to do regular ones!.
And all through middle/high school barely any girls could do them!. They are prob laughing with you and not at you!. Just go with it :)

we don't need allll that information to tell you how to do push ups lol!.!. its like your life biography just to tell us you need help with push ups!.!. anyways!.!. instead of doing push ups on your toes go on your knees and do push ups!.!. keep your back strait and don't push you butt out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

starting lifting weights to build muscle
or do them on your knees until you can do 50 easily then try them again on your feetWww@Answer-Health@Com

Instead of putting your weight on your toes, try your knees!. Go into a semi-kneeling position like you would if you were going to move around on your knees without using your hands!. Be sure that your back is completely straight and your arms are a shoulder's width apart!. Go straight down without moving your butt at all!. It's hard at first, but it does get easier!. If you don't feel strong enough to do that, you should do some weights or something to build up a bit more muscle!. And don't sweat junior high; it's not as scary as people make it sound!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
