If I stop taking in carbohydrates and try to use the treadmill, would I stop gro!

Question:

If I stop taking in carbohydrates and try to use the treadmill, would I stop growing?

I'm a 16-year-old Filipino boy, 5'11'' tall and weighing around 170 lbs. How often in a week should I use the treadmill? Should I try weightlifting? Should I stop taking in carbohydrates as a part of a high-protein diet? Would I still grow?

Answers:

You'll still grow if you're getting enough nutrition and calories. You can stunt your growth if you damage your growth plates from doing excessive treadmill or weighlifting, but most people would wear about before getting to this point! Go for it. Wouldn't recommend stopping carbohydrates though - this kind of diet offers no benefit over the traditional diet of decreasing calories and increasing exercise.
