Body type exercises?!


Question:

Body type exercises?

I am 22 yr old and eat well. I usually run 3-4 times a week.

This is a weird question, but when I stop running for even a week, I will only start gaining weight in my butt..

Would there be a reason for this? Are there better exercises more suitable for my body type?


Answers:

If you enjoy running then do not stop. Any exercise is only beneficial if you keep doing it so ofcourse weight goes back on if you stop. I always notice weight on my hips and thighs first when I stop exercising so I am hearing your plight, beleive me!
Include some strength training in your routine
Try lunges or squats for the lower body and pushups and dips for the upper body. Research the exercises on the net as there are heaps of variations you can try for all these exercises depending on your ability and what you like.
