Question: How does fat leave the body!?
When you lose weight, where does it go!? I mean,do we poop it out (sorry if that's too graphic) or what!? Because i have lost twenty pounds in the last two months without exercising at all!
All i did was go down from two or so meals a day with snacks to one meal a day without snacks in between or anything and i still eat below my calories with that one meal a day!. What i'm asking is through what process do the fat leave your body!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok, fat is a form of energy!. energy is defined as the ability to work or make something happen!. energy can not be formed or destroyed, it can only be conveyed from one form of energy to another (eg!. electrical to light)!. the fat stored inside your body has potential energy meaning it has the potential to be released, when it is released it is turned into kinetic energy (the energy of motion) and this allows you to do all physical activity and all everyday activites such as breathing!. I hope this answer helps you!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Fat leaves the fat cells through heat!. The fat cells remain there, but with no fat in them

All body processes require energy to run properly!. When the body is expending more energy than it is taking in (e!.g!. when exercising), the body's cells rely on internally stored energy sources, like complex carbohydrates and fats, for energy!. The first source the body turns to is glycogen (by glycogenolysis)!. Glycogen is a complex carbohydrate (in total about 2000 kcal)!. 65% is stored in skeletal muscles and the rest in the liver!. It is created from the excess of ingested macronutrients, mainly carbohydrates!. When those sources are nearly depleted, the body begins lipolysis, the mobilization and catabolism of fat stores for energy!. In this process, fats, obtained from adipose tissue, or fat cells, are broken down into glycerol and fatty acids, which can be used to make energy!. The primary by-products of metabolism are carbon dioxide and water; carbon dioxide is expelled through the respiratory system!.

Fats are also secreted by the sebaceous glands (in the skin)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
