Answers:
hey bud!. I too was once in your predicament!. i was 6'4 and 165lbs when I was 18!. Now at 29yrs old im at 265lbs and solid!. work out everyday!. you know what does it!? 1!.5 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight per day, you should preferably take 2 grams for faster builds!. Go and get yourself some glutamine powder and take 5 grams of that four times daily!. mix it in with your protein shakes!. Dont just rely on the powder for protein though, eat eggs, pasta, drink milk, TUNA TUNA TUNA Fish!!!!!!!! Tons of good protein in Tuna!. If your trying to gain weight, stick with WHEY protein powder as opposed to egg or soy!. Whey stays in your system longer!. Good luck! Check out www!.bodybuilding!.com

OH and supermang and SLS you are completely WRONG!. Your body builds itself back up when you sleep, Sleep is one of the most important things along with diet!. Your body needs protein when you sleep to rebuild itself!. As long as you stay away from carbs late at night, you dont have to worry about getting fat!. Take 30-40 grams of protein at bedtime!. An ohhh,!.!.!.!.you should be at atleast 200 grams of protein per day,!.!.!.!.no like the 100 as stated above!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

not sure the exact amount u need to build muscle!. I have pretty good luck with a few different things!.

1!. EAS LITE (make sure its lite) french vanilla protein drinks!. hardly any fat at all and 20g of protein per drink!. Only 170 calories per drink!. I usually drink 1 right when i wake up and 1 right before bed!. (Wal Mart sells these)!.

2!. Big 100 Chocolate Chip or Big 100 Graham Cracker Bars!. Both have around 28 grams of protein per bar!. and not too much fat!. But be careful!. These have around 370 calories so use them as a snack replacement or as a meal replacement (You can find them at any caseys gas station, hyvee grocery, and some other places as well)

3!. Atkins Peanut Butter Granola Bar!. 17 grams of protien, and little fat!. Only 200 calories per bar!. I usually use these as a snack replacemetn or breakfast replacement!. (Wal Mart sells these)

4!. Grilled Chicken sandwiches/salads (NO mayo or any other fattening sauces) Grilled chicken is high in protien and can help build lean muscle!. Look at restaurants (such as subway, mcdonalds, wendys, etc,) to see which has the best nutrition values on their menus!. Look for highest protein and least fat and least calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should probably be consuming 100-200 grams of protein daily!.

You can easily knock out 50 of your daily protein grams in a quality whey protein shake!. You can get a cheap, 2-pound tub at wal-mart for say $15!. But those things have virtually no carbs, so I would get the ones at GNC or some health shop that are like $70 for a 10 or 15-pound tub!. They have roughly the same amount of protein, but have WAY more carbs and calories, both which are essential to gaining weight and muscle!.

I think Dave is a little inaccurate in his rant in saying I am completely wrong!. I'm not sure what he's pointing out of mine answer that is so wrong!. Perhaps that I said to eat a lot of carbs!? Well, carbs are your energy source, so I don't know what his problem is there!. Maybe because I said only 100 grams of protein!? Well, everyone is different, so 100 grams of protein could very well be sufficient for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The most important thing about muscle building via protein supplements is to be consistent with how much you take and when you consume it!. It varies with each person, but common bodybuilders will have a protein drink 2-3 times a day!. One in the morning, and one before, after, or even during you work out!. Do not by any means drink protein before you go to bed, it won't build any muscle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1g-2g per lb of bodyweight!. Trust me follow my guidelines and within 2 weeks you'll notice results!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
