Question: How do i lose 20 pounds before summer is out!?
okay so im 12, im 5'' 1' and a half, and i weigh 122 pounds!.
I try and eat only 3 meals a day and no snacks!. but i dont excercise as much as i want!. Can anyone give me excercises that i can do in my back yard that are actually fun!? I always get bored of boring excercies!. is losing 20 pounds even possible before summer is out!?!?!? thanks for the helpWww@Answer-Health@Com

I'm 4'11" and 115 pounds!. I used to be 156 pounds, and I'm also trying to get down near 100 pounds!. Like the person above said, try not to worry about the specific number of pounds you want to lose!. Just work on being healthy!.

I know you asked more for exercise than diet tips, but did you know that weight loss mostly relies on diet, not exercise!? Exercise is important, especially if you want to keep your weight loss constant and permanent, but it's not as important as what you feed yourself!.

Start by creating a food journal!. Just buy one of those 99 cent notebooks and begin writing down EVERYTHING you eat!. Use websites such as fitday!.com or calorie-counter!.com to calculate how many calories you're eating a day on average!.

After you've observed your own eating habits, use a BMR calculator (search google for "BMR calculator") to calculate how many calories you need to eat to lose weight!. Then, adjust as needed!.

If you want to make it super simple and don't want to deal with calories, then simply cut everything you normally eat in half!. I got that tip from blubberbusters!.com!. It helped me lose a lot of weight when I was 13 years old!.

When it comes to exercise, try sprinting back and forth across your backyard!. Did you know sprinting actually helps burn more fat than jogging!? Do about 20 minutes of sprinting a day, or every other day!. You can also try jump rope or swimming!. Try to get 30 to 60 minutes of exercise total per day!. If you have weights, try some of these exercises:

If you don't have weights, a couple full water bottles work just as well!. Make sure you're doing each exercise until your muscles feel a little tired!. Do these every other day only, not every day!. You only need to work your muscles in this fashion 3X a week for the full benefit!. Doing it more won't let the muscle repair itself and this impedes progress!. You can do crunches everyday, however!. Your stomach muscles repair themselves fairly quickly!.

Building a little muscle is good because it helps you burn more calories long after you've stopped exercising! Plus, the toned look on girls looks really awesome, or so I'm told by my boyfriend!.

i don't know much about 12 year old girls, but im a 20 year old 6foot boy at 130 pounds!. And i consider myself a stick!. you being 122 pounds now, you want to end up 102 pounds!? that's crazy! Girls are naturally supposed to weigh more then guys!. Its sad when society presses it upon you, but if a 6foot girl weighed as much as i did, she would be missing a lung and a kidney!. and half a leg!.

Theres nothing wrong with keeping that tummy fat down, but keep in mind that you girls have a pair of big organs us men do not have!. The mirror can play tricks on you, even i have looked fat to myself on occasion!. And i am legally way underweight!.

What i am trying to get to here, is at 122 pounds you don't have to worry to much about your weight!. And if you want to lose 20 pounds, i am worried that you might become bulimic!. And trust me, guys like a healthy girl more they they like a stick!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best thing to do is go running/jogging/walking
alot!. eat healthier and smaller meals!.
but being 12 thats pretty hard to do because
there are so many good [unhealthy] food choices!.
and i know exactly what you mean, i will be 16 soon
and i want to loose 10 pounds, but i weight only 119
and people think im crazy to wanting to do that but
i will feel better, so if loosing 20 pounds will make you
feel and look better

For a great diet, juice (and I mean juice with an actual juicer) up veggies and fruits into a nice natural drink!. Drink 8 oz!. in the morning, lunch, and so on!. This can help you with the boost you might need and very healthy! It will also help speed up your metabolism!., which helps you lose even more weight quicker!

You can try jogging/running to burn the fat off!. Did you know that running for one hour IN PLACE can burn off 745 calories!? You can lose a pound in under 4 days if you do this for just an hour a day!

To tone your body, do pushups, sit ups, weight lifting, and free weight rooms!.

at your age, i did gymnastics in my yard, also softball, soccer!.!.!.

don't worry about "20 pounds"!. don't put that pressure on yourself!. just do your best and see what happens!. you will surely see significant improvement!Www@Answer-Health@Com

20 pounds is a little unrealistic!.

try somewhere from 7-10 pounds

lower numbers makes it hard to go lower

just workout more, lift weights, and eat 5 small meals aday instead of 3 regular mealsWww@Answer-Health@Com
