Skinny ***** fasting?!


Question: Skinny ***** fasting!?
The book skinny ***** says fasting is good for you, but doesn't skipping meals cause you to gain more weight once you start eating again!? Because I read somewhere that if you stop eating and then start eating again your body starts storing all the food you eat after fasting as fat supplies for when you stop eating again, as a type of survival method for the next time you "starve!." Which is true, that fasting is good for you, or that once you start eating again you start to gain weight!? I think that skinny ***** is a good, insightful book, but I really had to question the fasting thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have to drink plenty of water when you fast!. And there are tons of different methods of fasting!. Some just have juices or broths!. This helps rid toxins that are stored in your body(stored in fat) so to get rid of the toxins you have to melt the fat away!. But you must drink water and or broth/fresh juices!. Usually the reason weight is gained so quickly when you come off a fast is because you came off of it wrong!. You have to ease your way back to eating regular food!. Ok, so there a couple schools of thought on that question!.

IMO and experience, fasting is not a good idea if you are looking to lose weight!. (We'll get to weight management in a minute!.) Fasting does force your body into starvation mode (dependent on how long you fast)!. The big issue with fasting is that your body won't always attack the fat as a food source first!. It will usually disolve about the same percentage of fat and muscle at the same time!. Which, may cause you to lose pounds at first, but not in a good way!. The less muscle you have, the less weight you will be able to lose, because the use of muscle increases your metabolism, basically!.

As far as weight management, fasting can be a good thing, because it has been known to get rid of toxins, which can improve body functions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
