Do i get fatter with olive oil?!


Question: Do i get fatter with olive oil!?
If i put lot of olive oil in my salad, it eat a big plate salad at lunch and i put round 4 to 5 tablespoon olive oil because i like it!. i do this every every day, does it make me fatter!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Like all oils, olive oil is exceptionally high in calories and fat content so obviously you should use it sparingly!. You could gain a little weight if you use to much but you are having a lot of salad so it should not matter to much!.

I suggest that when you have your salad at lunch time use a little less olive oil !. You could add some Balsamic vinegar in there as well or some lemon juice, that really gives you a kick!.

Here is a recipie for salad dressing that is healthy:

1 cup of Balsamic Vinegar
1 cup or less of olive oil
1 clove of garlic cut up finely
1 teaspoon of dijon mustard
A pinch of pepper and salt!.
If you want you can use some lemon juice as well!.

Give it a good shake and enjoy!!

Balsamic vinegar is actually a good source of vitimans, but it is very strong so you should not have very much of it at a time!.

Olive oil is one of the healthiest forms of oil available and it is considerably better for you than more traditional cooking oils!. It's no coincidence that people who live in the Mediterranean and use olive oil religiously, have a much lower risk of heart disease and a tendency to remain healthier for longer!.

Perhaps the main benefit of olive oil is that it contains the essential fat omega 6 which is vital for both cellular and cardiovascular health!.

It is also important to note that olive oil is a mono-unsaturated fat and as such is less likely to be turned into the potentially harmful trans fat when used in cooking!.

Well olive oil is still indeed an oil and has fat in it!. However olive oil is a "healthier" fat, and will also help you feel full longer as opposed to regular salad dressings!.
Just to shake things up, try mixing the olive oil with equal part balsamic vinegar!. WOW! That way you'll use less oil but still add TONS of flavor!.
