ok so i am doing a project on anorexia and people said i shouldn't eat for a short peroid of time so i know what it feels like i was thinking 3 days so i can write a better report on it so how can i not listen to my stomach!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Normally I would agree with the person who told you to not even bother starving yourself and just do research about it, but if it is for a school project I think it's very scientific and brave that you go so far as to indulge within the disorder for your work!.

Anyhow, being a ex-anorexic myself, it was very hard to start out!. A good thing to try at first is using a rubber band [An actual RUBBER band, no hair ties] to wear around your wrist and everything you feel like eating than snap it hard on your wrist!. It hurts quite a bit!. It's like Ivan Pavlov's Classical conditioning!. For the three days that you're not eating, you snap your wrist, and soon you'll associate the feeling of hunger with a harsh sting on the wrist and your hunger pangs will go away!.


I wouldn't suggest doing this any longer than a few days though!. If you keep it up for a long period of time you may train your stomach to not want to eat so much that it's unhealthy!.

And please, only use this advice for good!. Nothing positive ever comes from an eating disorder!. There is always a better way to lose weight!. Trust me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well you should drink allot of water and it will help fill u up but not have an effect on Ur weight because anorexics most of the time only drink water or you can exercise vigorously and it will keep your mind off of food if you have ever noticed anorexics jog constantly so to really be in their shoes just do what they do because i think Ur only thinking about the food not the whole part of anorexiaWww@Answer-Health@Com

Don't do 3 days!. It's a huge jump for people to make who are used to regularly eating, nor is it healthy; you're going to get dehydrated!. I don't care what anyone says about experiencing it first hand so you 'understand'-- you're bound to faint at the very least and you'll feel awful!.

If you must, however, do 24 hours tops!. Jews do it every year for atonement at Yom Kippur-- we usually go without water, but make sure you KEEP DRINKING!. don't let yourself get dehydrated!.

If you feel lightheaded, you've had enough 'experience'!. Go, eat an apple or other piece of fruit, wait a little for your stomach to settle, and eat a meal half an hour to an hour later!.

I did a project on it too!
The special trick is to chew gum and drink tea with a real fruit in it (like lemon)!.
If you absolutely must eat, eat veggies!.
They are really low in calories!.

Be aware that you WILL lose muscle, not fat, and after you start eating again you will most likely gain more than you lost back!.

Dont do it!. Becuse you could possibly find it really hard to put the weight back on that you lost from starving yourself!. Also it is REALLY unhealthy for you to do that!. And to have to go through it first hand to 'understand' it is just bullshit!.

if you dont smoke already, take it up, it reduces appetite, and as some other people say, drink a lot of water, and lots of sugary drinks like red bull and V!. these will at least keep you vertical for 3 days!.

Drinking lost of water can make you fuller quicker!.
I suggest drinking water lots and avoiding ppl who are cooking lovely food to help you achieve your goal!.
