Question: Sore muscles getting worse!. help!?! 10 points!!?
i was excersisgin my thighs by going up and down and i didnt even work too much

than my mucles on the upper part of the leg started aching and getting sore

i couldnt walk normally and a day passed and now i cant even walk upo the stairs!. the day before i could

it is gettign worse
i cant bend my knees fully

do im asking how i can make it better
what should i do!. is there a medicine or something!?

Congratulations, it sounds like you've discovered DOMS, also known as delayed onset muscle soreness!. It happens when you push your muscles harder than you normally push them!. It doesn't have to be a lot, just more than you're used to!. So if what you're used to is nothing, even a small amount of exercise can give you DOMS!.

DOMS usually takes 24-48 hours to start (hence the Delayed- it might not feel bad at all immediately after you exercise), and you might be feeling it for 4-5 days!. There's really nothing you can do to fix it, the best cure is time!. To help speed things along make sure you drink plenty of water, eat healthy (bananas are good, potassium helps muscles heal), and get plenty of sleep!. Stretch out your muscles a few times a day if you feel them getting tight!. Don't avoid walking or stairs- try to stay in routine as much as you can!.

The first time I got DOMS, after 2 days I couldn't even walk normally!.!. I had to keep my knees locked and walk like frankenstein, my legs hurt so bad!. Assuming you didn't pull anything, it should be fine in less than a week!. And the next time you exercise, you should get much less soreness!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The main cause of muscle fatigue is Lactic acid fermentation, this occurs when oxygen is not in abundance to preform arobic respiration!. When Muscles are worked out for the first time the concentration of lactic acid is in great abundance, Water, Potassium ( bannanas), and calcium ( milk) should help!. Also working out a muscle causes it to tear!. When the muscle heals it becomes stronger ( the concept of a workout) you might be experiencing the tearing stage of your workout ( wait 2-3 days before working that muscle again!. when you workout acid builds up in your muscles!. the acid is whats making you sore!. stretching and rubbing it will help but maybe not signifigantly!. try taking some advil ten putting icy hot on!. if it dosnt work put ice on it!. and also to keep from getting sore in the future stretch after youve worked out, especially the muscles youve been working on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

stretch thoroughly, stretch bands are great tools for helping wiht soreness!.!. and even though your sore running is one of the best things you can do!. it will hep release the lactic acid!.which is the reason your feeling the way you doWww@Answer-Health@Com
