Trying to lose weight! help!?!


Question: Trying to lose weight! help!!?
Hi! Im a 16 year old and is vegan i currently weigh 145 pounds and want to lose 20 - 30 pounds in the next 40 days!. I want advice, tips, health related answers and anything! :)

Heres my plan

drink 2 bags of green tea daily
consume large amounts of acai berry products from sambazon!.com
drink 4 - 8 cups of cold water daily
consume less than 50g of carbs a day
eat low carb, low sugar veggies and fruits
burn about 500 calories a day or less!.
as a substitute for candy, chips, etc!.!.!.
consume a serving or less of pretzels
not too many tofu items
consuming lots of lemon
also eating about 15 - 20 peanuts, almonds, etc!.!.!. for snacking
keeping calorie amounts as low as possible
no artificially flavored foods or drinks
no more than a cup of soy milk a day < 100 calories! :O
no more than 1000 calories a day

I love eating all the items i mentioned above, so this wont be too hard, but if you find flaws or know of something i should add please tell me!Www@Answer-Health@Com

what you can do is eat healthy!
for breakfast in a blender mix mango, babana, strawberry and avocado(you wont taste it) blend and drink
that for shure will keep you sustained till lunch and give you loads of energy
lunch the same or try different fruits!.!.!.
dinner again in a blender add 4 or 5 dif vegetables!.!.!.
like lettuce, broccoli, carrots, zuchinin, etc, but then add a banana, somthing sweet like pineapple or watermelon
the sweetness shall over power the taste of the veggies:]
drink those smoothies and in 2 weeks youll loose 14 poundsL:]
i know cuz im doing that and have lost 25 pounds in 3 weeks:]
also ive noticed i can poop way better now and it doesnt stink at all, also you have no flatulance and ur sex drive is up the wall!

1) Drink a glass of water before every meal!. It fills you up so you don't over eat!. Also drink a glass of cold water every morning - Your body burns calories by cooling down the water to make it useful to your body!.

2) Eat slowly - It takes your brain 20 minutes to realize you're full, so if you eat fast, you'll overeat!.

3) Never crash diet!. Don't go under 1200 calories a day!. It'll slow your metabolism down, and you won't be able to receive all the nutrients you need in a day!. And once you do start eating normally again, you'll regain all the weight you lost immediately!. Instead, take it slow and steady!.

Wow there is a lot wrong with your ideas!.

First of all, how tall are you!? 145 lbs at 16 is not bad unless you are short!.

Second of all 20-30 lbs in 40 days is completely unrealistic!. Unless you are very short and have a lot of fat you should not plan on losing more than 2lbs a week!. Anything more is MUSCLE LOSS, which is bad bad bad!.

Thirdly 1000 calories a day will put your body into STARVATION MODE in which it will stop burning fat and instead burn YOUR OWN MUSCLE for energy!.

Please do some research on healthy dieting, because what you have presented is not only ineffective, it is downright dangerous!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is important to see that the weight you want to gain should be equally distributed all over the body, and not only around your waist


Following are some of the guidelines for gaining weight -

To gain weight, eat food with extremely high caloric value!.
Try to increase your food intake without consuming too much fat and sugar!.
Regular meals, especially breakfast, are important if you find it difficult to gain weight!.
Eat Late - Having snacks at bedtime may help to gain weight!.
Relax after having meal!.
Eat Frequently- Eat five or more meals a day!.
Do regular exercise!.

I agree with Ricky, this is way too dangerous!. You need more than 1000 calories if you're an active teenager!
Lots of lemon!? Well too much will erode your teeth!.
Contact the Vegan Society, they've got a (UK based)website - they can help you sort this out!.
Why 40 days, btw!? Not another one worried about school!?!?!?
145lbs is about ok for your age!. If you lose too much, your bones won't develop properly!.
I've known a few vegan kids and teenagers, btw, and the ones from vegan families are really fit - but you sound like you're in need of some guidance, love, and I'm glad you're mature enough to ask for it - that in itself is good PR for us veggies & vegans!Www@Answer-Health@Com
