Will this result in weight loss?!
Question: Will this result in weight loss!?
Am just curious, I went from drinking soda as my main staple, and 'whatever' i could find for food whenever I wanted it!.!.!.mostly fastfood, and fatty canned foods like Chef Boyarde (lazy)!. Recently I went to drinking only water, and giving myself 1 soda with dinner (yum :) ) and having 3 small meals a day!. Will this result in weight loss alone!?
If so, would weight loss help my back!?
Right now I'm about 5'4, and a little over 250 lbs (fatty yes I know :*( )!.!. and as it is, I have a hard time standing 10 to 20 minutes while washing dishes, without leaning on the counter once or twice to support my back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are taking in less calories than you previously were, then yes - this alone should result in weight loss!. You really need to be counting calories though!. Since you are coming off of a kind of sloppy and chaotic diet (no offense), you are probably going to want to instruct yourself on what a healthy balanced diet should be!. You need something a little bit more objective than "three small meals a day"!. At your height/weight a good start might be aiming for 1400-1500 calories a day!. You'll want to take this in 5-6 meals throughout the day spaced 2-3 hours apart!. This will keep your metabolism high!. Try to wean yourself off of all soda too, that is about 140 to 300 empty calories!. Maybe make it a goal to limit soda to once or twice a week!. Http://www!.fitday!.com/ provides a free online weightloss journal and calorie counter - it is an excellent and essential resource for someone counting calories!.
Losing weight is most certainly going to help your back, and probably fix other ailments you didn't even realize you had - not to mention making you feel more energetic!. Of course I have to add that you should think about taking up an exercise program too!. Maybe get some light dumbells and do some basic lifting exercises 3-4 times a week!. There are lots of exercises that can be done in a seated position if you are having a difficult time standing!. Since you do have back issues though, I would check with a doctor before starting anything like this!. I wish you the best of luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
