Answers:
Dependng on your frame or bone structure (if it is small, medium or large) your weight should be anywhere from 117-155!.

At 13 you have so many other things to worry about then dieting! Ask your family doctor what he/she thnks about your weight they could be very helpful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You cant always rely on a BMI chart!. The BMI does not take into account lean muscle!. Someone can be within their "range" for a BMI & be unhealthy!. They can be "thin", but have very little muscular definition!. Athletic people have a tendency to be over what is classified their normal range!. Did you know that Lance Armstrong was classified as "overweight" when he competed in the 1993 Tour de France!?

Honestly i would not worry about a one pound difference re: your BMI!. Just make sure you continue with a healthy lifestyle which includes exercise, & eating nutrionally!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've found a chart for you it shows you all the details!. You are a great wieght!

Here are some websites:

http://www!.healthchecksystems!.com/height!.!.!.

The Low is 117
The Target is 136
The High is 156

Just be anywhere between the low and high or you could be smack bang in the middle!

You are a great wieght! One thing is if you want to loose more wieght then eat healthy because alot of wieght lose comes from eating healthy in the kitchen!. This has been scientifically proven by the experts!. Here is a website with some tips for eating healthy: http://www!.betterhealthusa!.com/public/26!.!.!.

Its great that you are loosing wieght so keep up the fantastic work!
I hope that I could Help you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best answer for you is with your pediatrician!. You are young and your body is growing and changing!. You are not obese, therefore, no immediate action needs to be taken!. Do not withdraw from your parents, talk with them and your pediatrician about your weight and body image concerns!. Do not see a body image problem where this is none!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Realistically the charts are wrong!

You are still young, your body is still forming!. DON'T diet!. What you have to do is make sure you run,eat healthy!.
You should weigh no less than 135!. I think you are fine where you are!.!.!.keep in mind you are young and as you get older and take care of yourself, you body changes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am also 5'5"!. Yes, 130-150 is a healthy weight range for this height!. I am an adult, so my weight range is a bit lower than yours (mine is 125-145), although my present goal weight is 150!. Go ahead and lose that extra pound if you want, or maybe five, as long as you stay within that range!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try this ideal weight calculator, based on age, gender and height!. It gives you the per cent of people heavier than you, too!. And shows you how you compare to others: http://www!.halls!.md/ideal-weight/body!.ht!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i wouldnt take any notice of BMI to be honest!. !. It is so inaccurate!. Being 5ft5 i would say 120 - 140 would be a healthy weight range!. !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well since you're 5'5 you should be atleast 120-160 lbs!.
I would say for you 130 or 120!. Hope everything works out for you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

BMI is not relevant as it fails to take muscle weight into account!. I'd say at 5/5 a healthy weight range for you is 105 to 125 lbs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Charts are wrong because if your five foot 7 thats how much your post to weigh i would say 130 lbs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

OK now, i am 5, 6 and i weight 135, that is a good range, my bmi is in the healthy range, but toward the lower end, and I wear a size 3/5 long jeans, to give you a reference, and i think at 5 5 you should be no more than the 135 that i am , but now that does depend, do you want a healthy weight, or the best weight for your body,

see the healthy weight for me, is like 150 they say that i am fine up to that, but i would be over weight at that, i would not be comfortable with that, You have to remember that many of these charts have changed, as people have gotten fatter, then the charts have went up ,

When i was 18 the charts said that i should weigh less than 139 now they say less than 150!.!. LOL so the charts are off, you need to weigh about 10 pounds less than the high side, they give, and the high side, is still over weight, that is the limit, the very highest, not a comfortable weigh,

BUT all that said, yo0u are in the 7th grade, get active, do some sports, take dance class, learn to hike long distance, ( hike not stroll) start to move more, eat less, and you will find that weight that your body is to be!. Stop eating mindless calories foods, soda, chips, those only on occasion, then your body will find its * good weight* all by itself,!.

GOOD LUCKWww@Answer-Health@Com

Make sure that you're using a child/teen BMI scale!.

http://www!.kidsnutrition!.org/bodycomp/bm!.!.!.

A 65-inch tall, 150-pound, 13-year-old girl has a body mass index (BMI) of 25!.0, which is at the 93rd percentile for age!. This suggests that this girl is at risk of being overweight!.

A healthy weight range for this particular girl would be from about 98-pounds to 135-pounds!.

That site is specially catered to the activity levels of children and can help you decide upon a realistic weight!. If you feel comfortable as you are, you've no need to diet!. At (almost) 13, you're still growing and your body's hormones make things like weight very hard to control!. If you are interested in persuing a heathier lifestyle, I would say look into http://www!.caloriecount!.about!.com - its a great website, and there is a forum on there specially for young calorie counters (Teens)!. The tools on that calorie counting website are for adults - that means the BMI calculator and the calorie calculator too!. If you want to figure out your numbers for that stuff, use the first link that I posted!. At your age, you should be eating no less than 1800 calories!. Eating less than that will cause your body to cling to what you DO give it, and it becomes near impossible to lose weight!.!.!. (speaking for experience)!. Just be healthy and do what you feel like is right for you!. If you do choose to diet, know that you can eat the same amount - just change what you're eating from sweets and fatty foods to lean meats and fuits/vegetables! =) Great job on the 5lbs you've lost already! =D

*EDIT*

Please notice that the numbers a lot of these people are giving you are for adults!. Be sure to use a child/teen calculator or your results will not be accurate!. (For measure, I was 5'5'', 150lbs, and 19 years old when I started a healthier lifestyle, and I was bordering overweight then!. As we get older we are allowed to get fatter, not thinner, for those saying that a child's range would be higher!. =D)Www@Answer-Health@Com
