Question: Is it okay to work out the same part of the body every day!?
my brother says that working out the same part of the body everyday is doing more harm to your body because it breaks down muscle!. is this true!.!.!. i NEED to know!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, working the same body part everyday will lead to over training that muscle!. When you over train, your muscles cease making progress, and can even begin to lose strength and fitness!.

When you workout, what you are actually doing is tearing your muscle fibers and you therefore need to give adequate time for your muscles to heal!. I mean, otherwise you could spend weeks in a gym and notice very little results!.

Besides, other than just over training, you'll end up lopsided!. Like monster pecs, but weak shoulders!. Strong abs, week lower back!. I knew a guy back in high school who had deep, cut abs, but never worked out his lower back!. He ended up having back pains, because the ab muscles "overpowered" the back muscles!. This happened to my knees too, huge outer quads, baby inners!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

brothers a personal trainer and when i go to the gym he yells at me for working out or doing the same workout as i did the previous day it is true your not giving each muscle time to get stronger and as he says "rest it" which gives them time to grow!.try this:Monday Bi's & Tri's, Tuesday Back, Wednesday Chest,thursday run,Friday Shoulders & Saturday Legs!. and sunday RELAX[=Www@Answer-Health@Com
