How can i practice and train?!

Question: How can i practice and train!?
it is summer here, and where i live, it is really hot all day, from 6am-9:30pm, it is between 95-112 degrees!. The only time i can ever get outside to exercise is late at night, and thats cause it is dark!.

Im trying to get into shape, and practice for the coming basketball season, but it is so hot!. Then, when it isn't hot(at night) it is too dark to see the hoop, or go for a run!.
But i really really need to practice!.
Do you have any ideas on how i can do this, without going to a gym, cause i can't aford it, and i don't think they have one in this crappy small town!.

Any ideas would be great
thanksWww@Answer-Health@Com

if you are trying to get the muscles in your legs in shape for all the running, trying doing wall sits!. also, holding your arms straight out while doing wall sits will help with the endurance of the muscles in your arms as well!. any type of work with weights will help as long as you use smaller weights and do a lot of reps!.

as far as practicing on a court, sometimes the best time to practice is when it's hot!. just be sure to keep hydrated!. drinking salt water before you go out to practice or eating salt tablets will help your body retain water better so you are less likely to get dehydrated!. the number one thing to remember about hydration is that by the time you get thirsty you are already becomming mildly dehydrated!.

if you absolutely have to practice when it's not so hot out, and it has to be dark for that, i would suggest investing in some type of lighting!. halogen lights work really well!. its actually better not to have it as light on the court when you practice because then your senses other than sight become sharper because you have to rely on them more!. then when it comes time to play on a court with better lighting you should be more comfortable and things should come a lot more naturally to you!. hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get up early when the sun first comes up and go!. That's what I have to do!. I live somewhere hot, too (same weather--perhaps we live in the same place--hah!) and I can manage to workout early in the morning!. Since you're practicing for basketball, perhaps there is a school somewhere nearby that has a court you can practice on (most schools have lit courts at night)!. I also know that many university campuses don't check for student IDs if people come to use their facilities (like basketball, tennis courts and volleyball courts)!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

my best guess is find a very large shady area so u can practice wile keeping coolWww@Answer-Health@Com
