How long can say a twelve year old go without food or water.?

I guess some of you are confused on why I am asking this, no I do not have kids, and no I am NOT doing this to someone. I am writing a book and need this detail for my story.


Answers:

3 days without water, 5 days without food.
i would not recommend this though
