If you are on the south beach diet, will eating carbs on one day demolish your progess?

I am starting the south beach diet today, but today, we are having chinese food. I really want to eat it. I am gonna eat it. Will these carbs and stuff on one day each week demolish the progress done on the other 6 days of the week of every month?


Answers:

I've been on the South Beach diet for about 2 years now (I lost about 40 lbs...now I'm just maintaining). I occasionally have a high carb meal, like on holidays or family gatherings. It doesn't set me back. In fact, I usually don't even gain an ounce, because I just increase my activity that day. But be careful or you will start craving carbs again.
