Is psyllium fiber bad for the colon?!

Question: Is psyllium fiber bad for the colon!?

For years now, doctors have been suggesting fiber supplements such as Metamucil for everyone, not just older people!. Like all other OTC fiber supplements, Metamucil contains psyllium fiber!. I have now been told (NOT by a medical professional) that pysllium fiber is actually BAD for the colon!. Anyone have valid knowledge about this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
