Is the sodium (salt) you eat through food during the day, sweated out?!
Question: Is the sodium (salt) you eat through food during the day, sweated out!?
As in, the salt you eat, when you sweat in large amounts after a workout, does that salt come out, so it's like you never ate any salt at all!? So if you had 1,300 mg of salt, then you sweat through a hard workout, it's like there 0 mg of salt you ate that day!? Confused!. Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some of it is sweated away and some of it is peed away, but some of it is used by the body to maintain the proper sodium/chloride balance required for the proper functioning of cells!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You will not sweat it all out!. Your body needs it to balance itself!. Even Gatorade has salt for that purpose!. If you sweat it all out you would be extremely dehydrated (I know that sounds a little funny, but it is true)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Idk but thats 1!.3 g NaCl, a lot, yes, but your body does need some salt so I dont believe you lose it all!. Electrolytes they are!.!.!. important!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
That all depends on the amount of water you drank before/after having the 1,300 mg!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
