8 Stone........??!


Question: 8 Stone!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!?!?
I'm 14 and 8 stone!.!.!.is this overweight for my age!?, i don't know my height but I'm not very tall!.

Also does anyone know and good diets that i could use because I'm trying to loose some weight for when i go back to school in September because i always feel like the fatty there!

You don't sound overweight at all, if you are really concerned measure your height to find your bmi (body mass index) which will tell you if you are overweight or underweight,

dieting at 14 isn't a good idea, your body is still growing :) if you do need to lose weight (you don't sound like you do) the safest way to do it is to lay off the sugary foods and drink plenty of water and go walking, its important not to starve yourself, if you let your body go hungry and you don't feed yourself your body will store fat and it won't let your burn your fat as easily through exercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

basic computation of ideal weight:

5ft = 112lbs (+- 2lbs) for normal weight
* and that's plus 2lbs for every inch added to height with
+-2lbs within normal range!.

i lost 6lbs in 2wks doing this! i eat my breakfast in two parts!. i eat 1/2 slice brown bread at 9!.30 or 10am with strong coffee (no sugar but made with 3/4 milk and 1/4 water) and i eat the rest of the bread at 1pm with a glass of warm water with lemon!. and i eat fruits if i get hungry before dinner!. i make my own dinner, i put on more veggies on my plate and stick with seafoods or plain fish with pasta or 1 potato! i go for a walk 2hrs max per week coz i'm too busy to do it, apart from that i don't do anything else active!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's about right!. I'm 15, not very tall (5ft 2) and I weigh 7 stone!. It depends on your height more that your age!. Find out your height and go on a BMI website!. You type in your height and weight and it will tell you your BMI!. xWww@Answer-Health@Com
