I want to gain weight and build a better body...........?

I am 33y/o 6'0" and I way 150. I would like to gain 30 lbs. And keep it it. Is this possible and can anyone offer GOOD advice?

It sounds like you're slim. This is probably the hardest thing to do....First you will need to up you caloric intake...It is recommended to eat 1800 calories per day. Everyone is different. You are going to need to at the very least double this. You have to eat the right things though..... You need to eat much better. (2500 calories of Twinkies is not that I mean.) This depends a lot on how active your lifestyle is. Eat a lot of protein i.e. eggs, fish....There are several books out there that can give you a workout routine for your particular lifestyle. Muscle weight more than fat so you can actually gain weight with the combination of food and exercise combined. The secret to this is to work out monday, wednesday, and Friday (or whateverver works for you) then take 2 days off. This combined with a healthy diet will get you there with discipline and consistency. You want to put on mass so your workout sets should be 3-4 sets of 8-12 repetitions for the upper body and 15-20 reps for the lower body...When you can hit the 12 for the upper body and 20 for the lower then you raise the weight....You will get most of your results in the first 3 weeks ...KEEP GOING!
