Can I use pineapple as a carbohydrate for the body for life program?!


Question: Can I use pineapple as a carbohydrate for the body for life program!?
I am starting the body for life program with my hubby and he wants to have pineapple as a carbohydrate!? is it one!.!.!.!. please just useful answers, no joking around!.!.!.!. THANKS!

Well, I'm no BFL expert but I have just completed one challenge a few weeks ago and I'm on challenge 2 now!. I've dropped several sizes in my first challenge by following the program perfectly!.

As far as pineapple, although what everyone on here says is true!.!.!. I don't know if it's "okay" to eat for BFL!. It's not on the allowable food list posted on their site:

Anyway, I know when I first started I had a ton of questions!.!.!.!. I found a BFL forum that helped me through a lot and was EXTREMELY supportive!. I can't stress that enough!. Please check out the following forum if you're serious about BFL!.

it would not be optimum!. the majority of carbohydrates should be derived from low GI sources like beans, whole oatmeal, lentils, whole grain rice, etc!. fruits are high in simple sugars!. for optimum fat loss the simple sugar intake should be less than 25% of the total carbohydrate intake!. so if your carb intake is 100 grams, 25 grams or less of that should be simple sugars from all sources!. decreasing body fat is all about controlling insulin through the diet!. the easiest way to control insulin is by both reducing both the total carb intake and the simple sugar intake!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pineapple is low in carbohydrates and calories but it has a lot of sugar in it!. Sugar usually try to store your carbohydrates as excess of fat and store it inside your body!. I would rather recommend that you try apple, kiwi, grape fruit instead!. Vegetables would be much better over all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah pineapple is a fruit and it is a carbohydrate!. all fruits and vegetables are carbohydrates!.

i think strawberries, blueberries, cantelope, apples are good carbohydrates!. pineapple is ok!. banana is ok!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, all fruit counts as carbohydrate!. About a cup of pineapple is 18 grams of carb - the size of a large slice of bread!. It is actually healthier than grains -- has more antioxidants and fiber!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yep all fruits are complex carbs,i recommend grapefruit b/c it is rich in antioxidants, but the the taste sweet and bitter not alot of people enjoy it, oranges will do fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
