Question: If I water fast!?,,,!?
If I water fast for 2 weeks (I'm muslim,so I fast alot!. My body is used to it) and after losing 30 pounds, I eat 6-8 meals a day and excersise 1/2 an hour to 1 hour a day!.!.!.will I be able to keep it off!?

the best way to lose weight is to start by drinking tons of water a day!. It curbs your appetite and is good for you too!. Cut out breads and potatoes!. The portion size you usually eat you should cut in half!. Try not to eat after 5 or 6!. Exercise and with that do 200 sit ups every night before you go to bed!. I lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks and not only felt great but my stomach was flat!. The key though is really trying to drink alot of water!. most likely you will gain some if not alot of the weight back because your body will be famished and then your metabolism will be really slow and wont be able to burn off the food you start consuming until a while after it gets used to it (by this time you will gain the weight)!. The best way to lose weight is to just cut down on calories and eat several small meals to kick up your metabolism and also exercise!. Never starve yourself!. Well while you are fasting, yes you are going to lose weight, but I don't really know if it will be 30 pounds, but after eating again, you will gain it back because your body will suddenly get eating normal!.
When you are done fasting, I suggest you to continue exercising to help try keep off the weight, even though you might gain some back!. But its not really good to fast when it is not the time to do so, btw!.

NO!. Your body will be starved for nutrients and will pack on the pounds when you start eating again!.

Fasting slows your metabolism, makes your body try to store fat to deal with the lack of energy, and you will lose muscle mass in the course of 2 weeks without food, further slowing your metabolic rate and hurting your body fat%!.

No disrespect to your faith, but fasting for 2 weeks is unhealthy!. Your body can handle a day or two but it is not really good for you!.

It's good that you are eating and exercising, but it depends on what you are consuming in those 6-8 meals!. Considering that you fast a lot, the problem might be that you slowed down your metabolism!. So it doesn't matter how much you exercised because you are burning only a little bit of fat!. However, it cannot be helped so all you are able to do now is exercise and try to eat healthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm contemplating a water fast myself

Ive heard that if you have a few days of juice fasting its supposed to ease your body back into food better!. then you're supposed to move onto raw vegetables and stuff like that

don't expected to all stay off tho

you'll gain some back just from water weight

but but as long as you don't come off the fast and start eating fry ups it should be alright (Y)

This is a great vegetable broth recipe that you can use for a 3-7 day cleanse!. Drink it whenever you feel hungry! Try to use organic ingredients as much as possible!.

2 litres of water
2 large potatoes (peeled)
1 onion

I fast annually for non-weight loss reasons and I workout quite a bit - the weight always comes back!. If you want to lose weight, then eat only raw fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds!. You will lose weight and feel GREAT too!.

About fasting, it is very good for you, although juice fasting is better, you should drink only organic raw juice, and lots of it, make it fresh!.

Just drinking water can be fatal because you just bloat up and your body will suffer malnutrition and u can suffer this other disease kwashikwor i think, were ur tummy just bloats up! You need to read the book 'Hunger Point' by some author! but dont do it, if you think your fat, or just not the right size, do the effort workouts and eat healthy!. i was bulimic and it f-ed me up completly then i went anorexic and it ****** me up worse, i had horrible acne, horrible periods that lasted a month and a half, and they were very heavy, so i had to change my pad every 2 hours!. you skin becomes plae, your hair falls out, you keep regurgitating etc!. yuo'll be maming yoursef worse than what u already claim you are!. if u think u wanna live this lifestyle, having many deficiancies, enjoy!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just b/c you're muslim doesn't mean that you can go w/o food for 2 entire weeks!.

For Ramadan you guys fast, but you eat at sunrise and sunset!. That's all right!. 2 weeks with nothing but water is just going to end you up in the ER!.

Why don't you just start with the 6 meals and exercising without the fasting!? you'll get great results, be able to keep it off, and not starve yourselfWww@Answer-Health@Com

that is very very dangerous to water fast for 2 weeks!. most people can't live that long without food and the detrimental side effects will not be worth the weight-loss!. just eat better and exercise!. don't take the weight off too fast!. when you start eating again, you will gain a lot, if not all or more of it back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

are you doing this for God "pure faith" with reason, or is it because you want to lose weight!? God is not going to honor your fasting if you set other priorities into it!. I don't know if its the best for your body, but Jesus himself fasted for several days, (dont quote me on this), so it wouldn't hurt!. I DID IT 10 DAYS (I'M A MUSLIM TOO) BUT IT IS IRRELEVANT I WAS DEPRESSED AND I ONLY LOST 10LBS AND I HAD HIGH PROTEIN IN MY BODY AND IT WAS JUST NOT WORTH IT I WEIGHED 47-48KG AND THEN I GAINED DOUBLE WHAT I LOST AND I HAD SOOO MANY STRETCH MARK FROM THE RAPID WEIGHT LOST AND AS SOON AS I BEGAN TO EAT I HAD LOTS OF CELLULITE WHICH I DIDN'T HAVE BEFORE I DID THE WATER FAST AND I HAD FLABBY STOMACH EVEN THOUGH I WEIGHED 47!
