Question: I was anorexic and I keep getting made fun of!?
Background: I was anorexic for about 17 months and I went to a rehab center and now 4 months later I am fine!.!.!.very few people know about my anorexia!.
Story: I was at a party and one of my really good friends was there!. I had eaten before the party so when everyone ate I did not!. My friend turns to me and says "You are so anorexic"
I hate when people make anorexic jokes!. I hate it more when its directed to me!. I hate it the most when its someone who knows that I was anorexic!.
What should I do!? I mean I was really embarrassed and now I dont want to talk to my friend cause he was really rude to me!. Any ideas on how to fix this situation!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

People aren't always kind about such subjects, the thing is to not let it get to you, and to ignore it!. Have a reply ready for when people say something!. Don't be scared!.!.!. be prepared!. Also, know that you are very and I mean very strong to be beating your anorexia, it is a hard battle to win, so congrats on that!!!
The people that make fun of you probably aren't your friends and hanging around them can only bring you harm!. Instead surround yourself with people who will bring you up and make you feel good about yourself!.

Well if you're friend had already known about your anorexia and made that comment then I would advise you to not keep in contact with that person because that was rude!! But if they never knew about it then I would tell them so they wouldn't do it again!.!.!.!.!.= )Www@Answer-Health@Com
