Cut out the crap in your diet like soda and fast food!. I haven't had soda in more than 6 months!. I know someone that hasn't had soda in 7 years!. It's not hard to do!. A bottle of Coke has 240 calories, 65 grams of sugar, and nothing nutricious to speak of!. It's where most people's empty calories come from and cutting back could do you a lot of good!. Don't even drink diet soda!. Opt for water or lowfat/skim milk!.

You really need to take advantage of nutrition facts!. I'm not saying to count calories, but watch out for a lot of fat, sugar and sodium!. These are all bad for your weight!. Things that claim to be 'diet' or 'low-cal' will skimp on something, but add it in another way!.

I'm sure you've heard this many times before, but eat five, small meals a day!. Have a bowl of Cheerios for breakfast, an apple for a mid-morning snack, a turkey sandwhich on wheat bread for lunch, a healthy granola bar for an afternoon snack and fish for dinner!. It'll keep you full all day long, plus, the frequent meals will keep your metabolism up!.

I suggest that to anyone looking to add cardio to their lifestyle!. I'm getting ready to start week 4 and it's worked wonders for me!. The program pushes you, but it's never killed my body, like if you go from no exercise to a ten mile run in one day!. Don't forget to stretch for about ten minutes before and after your workout!. Also, walk for five minutes before and after the run!. The walking plus stretching is called a warm up and cool down!. It'll combat soreness and injury!. Make sure you have proper shoes before you run!.

On your off days of that program, I suggest some strength training!. Seventeen magazines have been featuring an array of workouts!. Although most of them only target one area, a few are all around workouts!. If you don't subscribe to the magazine, borrow one from your friend or look in a local library!. They fit in very well with the running program I mentioned above!.

Your Goals:

The key to having a successful diet and exercise program is to realize that this is a lifestyle change!. You're becoming active and eating better to maintain a healthy weight and fitness level!. If you stop once you lose all the weight that you want, you'll go right back to where you were, or even heavier!.

Be realistic with your goals!. You can't lose 30 pounds in one month!. It's healthy to only lose 1 or 2 pounds a week!. If you don't lose any weight one week, don't get down on yourself!. Just keep trying and recheck to make sure you're getting the neccessary exercise and eating properly!. Some factors are just out of our control some weeks that just don't allow us to lose weight!. Being negative is the worst possible thing to do!.

After a few weeks of eating better and exercising, you'll feel so much better about yourself!. Your mood and energy will be, plus you'll feel all around healthier!. i lost 50 lbs just by walking 5 miles every other day!.i walked at a nice steady pace!. just walk none of that speed walking crap or anything just walked normally!. got to the point where i could actually run the whole 5 miles if i wanted to!. i didn't even change my eating habits!. it worked for me!. went from 220 to 170 in just a couple of months!. i have gained back a 15 lbs in 2 years!. i no longer walk the 5 miles each day!. just watch my eating habits closer!. i now weigh 185 but it is much better than 220!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Make sure you talk to your doctor before you start dieting !.
Cut off soft drinks and junk food , workout in a gym for 60
minutes each week ,go jogging with a friend or family member and eat a healthy snack when you are hungry !.
