What's the quickest way to burn a lot of calories?

How many calories can you burn from running about 2 1/2 miles? And what's the quickest way to burn a lot of calories in just minutes?

you probaly wont wanna hear this but running burns the most calories. a half hour of running at a speed of 7.5-8 miles an hour burns about 500-800 calories depending on you and hills and stuff

running two and a half miles would probaly burn about 500 calories i would guess, im really not sure. All i do know isthat if you run, you can eat as much as you want and never get fat. If you run consistently (like every day) your metabolism speeds up and you build muscle which needs more calories anyway. Your body burns lots of fat and wont store it because it knows you need it for running
