Why do people justify eating every day at fast food restaurants like McDonald!


Question: Why do people justify eating every day at fast food restaurants like McDonald's!?
I hear people sticking up for people who do, in fact eat there every day saying that places like McDonald's serve cheap, food that you can eat fast, so it's understandable that many people eat there in excess!. That's preposterous!. You could very well go to the grocery store and buy a loaf of whole wheat bread along with a jar of real strawberry jam!. Then put it in a zip loc bag and shove it in your bag!. Stuff an apple in there as well if you have space!. It's not that hard and it costs probably $7!.00 for 10 or so meals!. Then for dinner you can go home and heat up some frozen veggies and eat it with rice!.

Why can't people just do that if they're low on time!? It tastes good and it's nutritious!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Society is breeding skills out of life!. Technology and convenience is far more appealing to a society with failing educational systems and crumbling morals!. I am 30, and many of my peers do not know how to cook, as their families did not focus on it - also growing up, no one really knew certain food were bad for you!. Only in the recent decade have we discovered these horrible transfats and other substances fast food places use to be horrific for us!. It has really become a habit and it is ingrained in society through repeat exposure within the family and the media!. I mean - as a treat, my mother would take us to McDonald's!. I have fond memories of eating my wee hamburger, playing the games on the Happy Meal box, and pushing little boys off the playland!. However, she used it as a treat, not a daily solution to her busy day and forgetting dinner or every one having different events and making their own dining arrangements!.

So in conclusion - convenience, social conditioning, lack of information or structure for eating healthy, and habit bring people to the dollar menu!.

Personally, I buy Orowheat Health Nut Bread, store brand natural peanut butter and reduced sugar strawberry jam as they all lack corn syrup or other artificial sweeteners that cause adverse issues for the body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not everybody wants a nasty PB and J sandwich or veggies and rice for dinner!.Maybe people want to "grab and go" because they've been in class or at the office since 8AM and dont feel like standing for 20-60 minutes cooking!. Just because you don't, doesn't mean that people who do are bad!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
