Am i doing anything wrong???!


Question: Am i doing anything wrong!?!?!?
so i am just wondering if what i do and eat everyday is healthy!.!.!.
my diet:
before i eat i take a vitamin
breakfast:usually a small bowl of cereal with low fat milk
snack:an apple or an orange
lunch:salad with other veggies,maybe fruit, and vegetarian ground beef
snack:either just plain crackers or crackers with a little bit of peanut butter for protein
dinner:pretty much the same as lunch
desert:either a popsicle(gets rid of my craving for sugar) or some kind of fruit
drink:I usually try to drink a lot of water, every once in awhile ill have orange juice, and i try to drink a glass of low fat milk once a day

and my workout routine:
i run between 3 and 6 miles daily (because of Cross Country)
a couple times a week i like to do a twenty minute workout routine
i try to do 200 sittups 4 or 5 times a week

if i am doing anything wrong or if you have any suggestions could you let me know

Alli, you're really doing pretty well!. You gets lots of exercise and you spread your food out through the day instead of just having one or two big meals!. It looks like you're getting 3 or 4 fruits and veggies a day, and you could increase that a bit!. You could also do with some whole grains!. I don't know what kind of cereal you eat - that could make quite a difference, as could the type of crackers you eat!. Also, make sure you're getting enough protein!. Although we don't need nearly as much as most people eat, you do need to make sure you're getting a good combination of foods!. It looks like you're a vegetarian, and when you eliminate meat from you diet you need to be careful to include a variety of foods to make up for it!. To me this sounds like too much excercise and not enough food intake!. I would suggest talking to a coach, doctor, or personal trainer about your diet and fitness routines!.

With that much excercise, you need to include foods that are sources of things you need from all the food groups in every meal!. And yes, I did see that you have a preference for things vegetarian but you still need to be eating from more of the food groups at each meal!.
