Multivitamins -- I don't know which types to take?!


Question: Multivitamins -- I don't know which types to take!?
I drink several nights a week, I go to the beach once a week for sports and sun, I drink a lot of milk and I'm a meat eater, but I don't eat a lot of fruits and vegetables!. I work the even shift every night and so I don't usually get to have a healthy dinner!. I usually just cook something fast such as those packaged pasta or microwave dinner after I get off from work!. I get sick really easily, usually cough and cold, nothing serious!.

My friend suggested that I take multivitamins to help boost my immune system!. Is that correct!? Are there any specific types of vitamins would you suggest that I take!? Any suggestions on the brand of multivitamins!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your friend is correct!. When taking a multivitamin/multimineral supplement, always go for the name brand, such as Theragran-M!. I really do not trust store brands to completely dissolve!.

Other daily supplements to consider are vit c 500mg and some sort of Flax seed oil (1000mg twice daily)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My first suggestion would be to stop using the microwave!. Research is showing many dangers!. As far as supplements are concerned, you really need a whole food supplement which means the supplements have not been heated and comes from high quality sources!. The one I would recommend is Standard Process but you have to see a qualified provider to get it!. I am a provider and of course would love to see you first so I could test you to see what would be the best supplements for you but if that is not possible, I would be willing to at least give you the multi-vitamin, along with a good mineral from a whole food source!. If you just take a regular vitamin pill (especially a one-a-day type) you will eventually deplete your body even more from the nutrition it needs because when you take a whole food vitamin, it contains hundreds of elements that nature provides for our bodies to assililate the vitamins!. If you take a fractionated type of vitamin (one that either does not come from a whole food, or one that does but has been heated and does not contain the hundreds of elements to help absorb the vitamins) you will eventually deplete your body of those very elements that nature would have provided!. You then become sicker than you were before you started taking vitamins!. Please be careful about that!. Standard Process has a wonderful vitamin that is very reasonably priced!.
