Question:

Can you still gain weight if you dont exercise and burn off the callories that you consumed from that day?

What about two days? Is it better to just work out 3 days, or everyday? Because i heard you need to rest and let the muscles rest. But i was wandering if thats involved with just losing weight too?

Hi.
It is good to workout about every other day or so.Try the following split
1) Chest, deltoids, traps, triceps, abs
2) Back, Biceps
3) Legs, forearms
Do 1 on some day (for instance tomorrow) and then 2 two days later (Wednesday). By doing your workouts this way you should be able to avoid overtraining.
If you want to drop weight you need to eat fewer calories than you need. PeopIe gain weight because they consume more calories than they need.
I would suggest eating the amount you need to maintain weight for about 4-6 days, then the next 4-6 days eat a little less than you need to maintain weight and then repeat until you have reached your desired weight. This method works, just give it time.
If you constantly deprive yourself of calories your metabolism will slow down making it harder for you to shed the extra weight. That´s where most people go wrong.
Make sure you eat a well balanced diet from all of the basic food groups.
If you can you should train in a gym and make sure you perform all the exercises in good form.
