Question: What is a good protein shake for girls!?
I'm a female trying to tone and lose weight what is a good protein shake that will allow me to do so!?!?!?!?!?Please help! I work out 5 times a week cardio 3 days on the eliptical, leg weight machines 2-3 times a weekWww@Answer-Health@Com

Any of the shakes are OK for you!. Men have to avoid soy protein but it is OK for women and some say it helps the complexion!. I like EAS brands, they always check out as having the ingredients they claim!.
Add some upper body resistance for some nice toning of arms and a sleek looking back!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There's no specific shake!. It's all about total calories!. With protein maybe at 40 percent!. Or at least 1 gram per pound of body weight per day!. A good protein for working out is whey, lean meat and egg whites!. I make a shake with fresh fruit, a little bit of natural peanut butter, whey protein, non fat, non flavored yogurt, ice, and water!. That's usually post work out!. You can just mix whey powder with water for supplementation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you use a blender, try 16 oz!. of water or fat free milk, 2 scoops of vanilla or banana flavored protein powder (I recommend whey protein!.!.!.!.!.low fat AND low carb) and one medium banana!. Add some Splenda if you'd like it sweeter!. This should give you about 50 grams of protein(using skim milk), 4 grams of fat and about 35 grams of carbs (mostly from the nutrition packed banana)!.
