Question: I am an athlete but im still too skinny!?
Hi i am a 13 year old girl!. I am in training to get a lifeguarding licese, I play hockey, track, cross country, basketball and gymnastics!. I dont look strong at all but i am!. How come from playing all these sports i dont gain muscle Im still really skinny!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eat more lean protien, don't over train!. Need to give your body time to recover, and even take 4-6 days off every so often and do nothing related to your usual training!. Muscle recovery and enough food intake are needed to retain/ gain muscle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the rate at which you gain muscle is mainly genetic, and then its how often, how hard, and how effectively you train!. although im not sure why your still skinny, as skinny isn't really relative, what is your height and weight!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
