Question: I am almost 5'8 and i weigh about 178 pounds!.!?
okay i'd like to weigh about 125-130 pounds BY 2009!.

is there any possible way i could do that!? i'm very unhappy with myself!.

i've never been called fat or made fun of, so obviously i'm not like gross looking!. haha!.

First off, I'm actually really impressed that you said by "2009" most people don't give themself enough time to lose weight naturally and by far you have!. bravo!. The best thing to do is cut off all sweets, except for jelly!. When u have a sweet craving go for jelly and bread with some milk or juice!. Secondly, cut down the amount or quantity you eat for your meals!. Eat until you don't feel hungry, not until you are stuffed or full!. You should snack with dried nuts and dried fruits if you want to eat something!.

Lastly, exercise whenever you get the chance!. Go for exercising 2 times a week!. when you exercise go for a high intensity workout meaning get yourself sweating and keep yourself sweating for 30 min!. (Usually I use a tredmill and jog nonstop for 30 min, and I"m only a beginner jogger!)

I just wanted to add: someone before me said that drinking 3 glasses of skin milk will help you lose weight!. While I want this to be a true fact I have done my research and here's what I've found:

When you buy milk from your grocery store, you are not buying pure milk!. You're buying milk that has been pasteurized!. This is a process in which milk is boiled and then cooled in order to get rid of any and all germs which are in the milk!. Not only does pasteurization get rid of the germs in milk, but it gets rid of the nutrients and vitamins that are originally present in the milk!. Enzymes which are in raw milk are quite beneficial to your body, however, those don't come in the pasteurized milk that most people use!. Mothers and fathers encourage their children to drink milk daily and think that they are doing something great for the health of their child, but essentially they are hurting them more than they are doing them any good!.

The more milk you drink, the more weight you will gain!. There is also evidence that milk causes skin allergies, cancer, blemish problems, arthritis or joint problems, constipation and more!. what i mean by eating less is that you cut down the unhealthy stuff e!.g choclate,crips and swap them with healthy thing like fruit and veg!. of course, you can spoil your self now and there( i tend to to it to much,hahaa:P)!.try aiming to get at least 1500-1800 calories!. since your quite tall, you can eat quite alot withour really woorying, so dont really worry about the food :D!!wwwwwwww, and drink lots of water :D not only would water help you loose wieght, but its good for your skin :D:D
with exersising, you should exersise for 10 munites to start with, then gradually make the time more!. they recomend us to do 30 munites a day of exersise to maintain our weight, but since you want to loose weight, you should do about 45-60 munites if you want to loose weight!? :)
eeeerm, some examples are-walking,swimming,running,jooginh,DAN!.!.!. things,and the sportrs people do in school like football,rownders,hoci,tennis etc!.theres loads out there

Your question is interesting to me!. You state that you are very unhappy with yourself, but make fun of heavier people by stating that you don't look gross, and also that you've never been made fun of for your weight!.

It seems to me that you're blaming personal issues on your weight!. If that's your only goal, you're going to be miserable at 178lbs and you're going to be miserable at 130lbs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My mom went on a strictly no carb diet for a month and a half, and lost seven lbs her first week!. After a month and a half she GRADUALLY started increasing her carb intake, but not completely bringing it back to normal!. She is now on a low carb diet and first cut carbs from her diet six months ago!. She has lost about 75lbs!. Hope this helps! Stay healthy!

I am 5'10 and 117lbs(and healthy), but I still have a really high metabolism, and I kickbox and run everyday!. A year ago I went to Guatemala for about six months!. I left home weighing about 127lbs!. When I was down there I didn't exercise at all, and all of the traditional food there isn't what you would call weight friendly, but it IS delicious! I don't know your eating habits, but this is what I would suggest!. I lost 50 pounds this way!. Completely cut out all unhealthy snacks!. For two years I wouldn't touch a chip or cookie!. All I snacked on was fruit and plain popcorn!. Cut down your portions at meals, only allow yourself one serving of everything!. Don't drink any regular pop, only diet!. I lost weight very fast this way and I have kept it off for a couple of years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Drink lots of watrer!. Slow down on carobnated drinks, choose foods with priotics and use spices rather then salt!. Try not to eat food with lots of sodium (salt) avoid dry fruits such as apricots and plums!. eat more potassium like bananas, and ginger tea!. Eat lots of different nuts!. Drink SOME amounts of milk but don't go overboard and eat carrots!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, you should get on an exercise program and watch your diet!. It would help if you had a friend who would encourage you to stick with it!. I think it's possible for you to lose that much weight if you're determined!.

Diet pills or any kind of weight loss product that advertises no healthy eating or exercises is bad for you!.
I'm not going to tell you to diet because that's ridiculous!. But as for exercise, that's needed for your body to stay healthy!. Trust me!. So read this, please!. I'm not trying to offend you but this is just a suggestion to live a happy and healthy lifestyle!.

First of all, I really hope that throughout this process you're considering your health before your image!. It's really not healthy to starve yourself by just drinking slim fast and protein shakes!. This is a healthier version of weight loss that your body will thank you for!

Exercise:
A!. Go to your local gym!. I personally love going to the YMCA and taking classes such as Spin, Boot Camp, and Xtreme Pump!. They are an hour long each and REALLY help you to get fit!
B!. *If you can't afford a membership or just don't have the time, you could wake up early in the mornings or go out in the evenings for a nice run around your neighborhood!. Bring an iPod or MP3 with you to pump yourself with fast-paced and easy going music!.
*You can also set a goal for yourself to do 100 sit ups, push ups, and stretches every morning and night, and before you take your run!. It helps to build muscle and tone the areas that running doesn't focus on!.

Food: (THIS IS NOT A DIET)
First and foremost, please DO NOT go on any crazy, unhealthy, starving diets!. Still eat 3 meals a day with a snack between each!.
(and all of this is from my experience)
*For breakfast, have a healthy cereal with a piece of fruit and a bagel!. Drink orange juice and/or coffee with it!.
*Lunch, a plate of spagetti with low-fat garlic bread and a glass of milk!. (BTW, if you drink 3 glasses of low fat milk a day, it helps to make your bones strong and make you leaner :D) Have some broccoli or another small portion of veggies on the side!.
*Dinner, similar to lunch: your basic entree, a portion of veggies, some milk and/or water

Snacks can include healthy yogurts, fruits, and wheat thins!. Drink water throughout the day, too!. It helps to flush out your system and keep you hydrated throughout your exercises!.


It sounds like a difficult routine to get used to, but it's so easy once you get started!. I do the exact same routine and I am now 115 lbs and VERY healthy and energetic! Working out will be difficult at first, but once your body gets used to using so much energy, it will crave it!

And as far as eating before you exercise, you can do either
*have a snack before
*or have a full meal, then wait an hour before exercising

and ALWAYS eat after exercising, and drink water!

PS- as for results, you will begin to FEEL them before you notice them! if you exercise for 30 mintues to an hour 4-6 days a week, you can lose up to 3 lbs that week!. It's healthy to only lose small amounts of weight at a time, like 2-3 lbs a week!.

Results on the scale are also different from your health!. When you start exercising you will start to gain muscle, so it will seem like you're not losing weight when you step on the scale, but you will notice by your size!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
