Going from overweight to muscular definition...?
If you lose a lot of weight in 8 months, like 60 pounds or more, and end up at about 6 percent body fat, could you get really defined muscularity in the next 4 months after that? So basically, could an extremely overweight person set a goal of having muscular definition in one year, or is it physiologically not doable?

That is very doable. You just have to remember that muscle weighs more than fat so, you will put a few pounds back on but not what you were to begin with.
